I understand there needs to be a risk when fighting corp, but giving us 2 minutes to return to our loot from being ddosed doesn't work effectively. Yes, it takes a lot less than 2 minutes to return to your death(if you are connected to your character and you don't disconnect), but when you die from a ddos it's not the same. Many times the world gets hit off for extended lengths of time, sometimes for more than 2 minutes. So by the time you are able to reconnect to the server and log in, your account has already died and been dead for more than 2 minutes, and your loot will have already appeared to everyone before you even get a chance to return. Changing the system mechanics to make it so you must be logged in for any loot or dropped items to appear is very effective in countering the ddosers, so nice work there. One alternative temporary solution I've thought of is to make a script(similar to world tracker scripts clans use) that finds out when a large number of players in a world drops dramatically in a short allotment of time. When this happens, run code that allows different death mechanics to temporarily take place, which would allow the ddosed victims in that world to retrieve their items properly.
