In my personal opinion ...
Perhaps the wilderness is fine the way it is right now in 2007 ... or rather the way it has always been: simple. If this were to be changed in some way, I hope it would be minor.
Group skilling activities? Sure, why not? We already have the blast furnace as a conglomerate of a bunch of skills, so why not parrot off that for the future?
Trading definitely needs the biggest update in this game. I loved the GE when it came out. It made trading easy and simple. All the miscellaneous drops from slayer and other activities could actually be turned into extra money. Just put it in the GE, let it sit, and someone would eventually buy it - no extra work on your part and no spamming for hours in world 1(2) and then finally getting a trade offer only to realize that the price wasn't right and you were back to square one. I would love to see the GE back in the game, but unfortunately I know a lot of people wouldn't and would quit if it were implemented. Why would you want to make things more difficult?
Regardless of what happens though, could we have bank tabs and possibly resting back? Bank tabs would be a very easy implementation, and rest wouldn't be difficult either.
