Stir in a bit of BH in the Volcano Crater, sprinkle on some Revenants, and add a hint of trading exchange with a few slices of Kraken on the side and voila, some delicious Update Soup.

Quality of Life Updates

I propose bringing coin pouches to OSRS; carrying gold in the inventory is a hassle, so is having to run to the bank to fetch it for boat rides/knick-knacks. Carrying around gold in the inventory is NOT oldschool nor is it enjoyable - it's just an annoying hindrance to the fluidity of gameplay.

Continuing effort to ensuring JAG works on OSRS is vital. Too many noobs getting themselves hijacked in some of the most hilarious perplexing ways. Bank pins pl0x.

Grand Exchange or something equivalent has gotten a growing amount of support over the past 6 months, so I'm confident we'll see something like it in-game soon.

Handling Bots

-1st time caught = Perma ban to account and all alternates/mains.
-Monthly Name-n-Shame
-Perm mute autotypers on their first offence

We need Iron Handed, ruthless aggression and punishment against all rulebreakers.

I really hope Jagex will tackle the cheating problem of multiple accounts trading to one main character, and autotalker spam.

I'd like trading between games also to not be allowed.

A trading system similar to the popular website starting with a Z would be nice, but one where the prices could not be manipulated so easily, because the person should actually have the items or GP to be able to post what they are buying or selling, and should be the real player not an impostor.

What I want most is for non combat skilling to be profitable and useful. That would be #1 on my list.

PVP I think needs PVP light for players who are not very good at it who could learn with less risk and have fun and maybe profit a little. I'd like a combat system which has a scoring system for kill to death ratio, which could not be abused easily. Someone should not be able to die on purpose and go down in their score to look not as good at PVP as they actually are, so once they reach a higher kill level score they should not be able to go down a tier easily, this would make a better matching system, and show their profits vs loss as part of their pvp score.
Hi.

Summoning

It would fix pvm, pvp, and skilling. Plus, its a lot of fun having an awesome npc by your side helping you do stuff.

For those who haven't used summoning before, it is something worth a shot and you will not be disappointed. Dont be intimidated by it. It is fun.

Summoning would also limit bots, and it requires a higher level of intelligence to collect different charm from monsters. In pre-eoc, summoning was a very low botted skill.

As a pker for years I would recommend to add Forinthry Dungeon into the wilderness as it brings a variety of new armour for old school and it gives pkers another area to hunt for people. But this time make the forinthry cave a bit different or more unique to attract even more people. Maybe like some rune ores near the back of the cave or a place to fish new types of fishes that could heal more. Maybe even add a new tree that could make a lvl 70 bow so people will want to go to that cave and make it like around 15-35 wilderness and any of the resources have to be pass 20 wilderness so it will be harder to obtain. This is just an idea from a pker whose been pking for around 10 years :)

I understand that many people are interested in updating the game and adding in new content they believe will improve it, but I want us all to keep in mind the first aim of Old School Runescape as well. For many people, myself included, that was to bring back the Runescape we used to play. I'm worried that all these updates will change the game too much and put Old School on a similar track as RS3. I can deal with the occasional bit of content being added or little improvements like a search tab being added to the bank. However, when we start adding all sorts of new weapons, monsters, and skills that scares me a little. I especially don't want whole systems to change, like the Old School style of trading being overhauled and replaced with the Grand Exchange (or something even remotely like it). I'll admit, I don't experience the current troubles of trading as I don't trade much, but I remember fondly trading in earlier years and I want to keep it as close to the way it was as possible. Changes to such large systems considerably change the atmosphere of the game as well, just keep that in mind. What also scares me is the idea of things being made easier. I believe even adding small things such as the coin pouch or more teleports is going too far. One of my biggest complaints about RS3 is that it became too easy, allowing the game rewards to become void, which is frankly a little unfair. If you work hard for something the reward should stay useful. I know I may be a minority, calling for no changes at all, but please, can we find a way to respect the minority as well? I also want people to really think through the changes they ask for: [green]in a year will we regret adding so much new content, warping our beloved game?[/green] Thanks for listening, Deathgirlamr, player since 2006
