Sara is crying because of how abused BH was, and hopefully his tears will burn up in the atmosphere before reaching the BH reward shop (where people who have stockpiled and held emblems from the time period that obtaining them was easily abuseable can purchase them).


You make it sound like BH went for weeks without a nerf to the rewards and to buying kills. It was a day and a half, not many people have saved all of their points just for the second reward shop since the first day.

well this is a bit harsh but its true, its not fair to say no to one set of powerful/bordeline OP items then say yes to another set (Sara's tear) because it suits you. IMO neither item suits the game at all.

Once again, alot of items that don't suit the game. That seercull upgrade is a massive overhaul for such a typical minigame. I get that alot of these are money sinks but i dont think we need to add really OP spells to this game, im happy with barrage & vengeance as the tops. Augury and Rigour polled down, accept it.
Archer ring imbue idea actually sounds quite good, maybe as another item tho as it already has a NMZ imbue, or as a specialised crossbow, because thats 2m i'm not gonna get back and 2000000/300 specs = 6666 gold per spec, plus the bolts obv. To add a massive amount of specs to balance this waste of gold would mean a ranger could get this once and never need to get it again.
Fire cape idea could work, dunno how it would assist ranged vs avas, but once again this promotes use of untradeables, which means less risk in pking.
Alot of these ideas seem fit for pure pk clans because no normal 1v1 pker would risk most of these items so these ideas are quite biased

After reading all these pages, it seems the general consensus is that range needs more weapons with better specs. I agree with this, as is evident by all the rangers who need to rely on a gmaul spec to KO their target in B.H.

Another big theme seems to be 'risk vs reward', specifically that players aren't going to risk their expensive gear when facing opponents wearing largely untradable items (who just run back and pick up their gear). And most of these untradable items are for melee. Why is there a fighters torso, but no torso for mages or rangers?
The solution would be that all untradables lost in the wilderness are both LOST and DROP GP (or money instantly put in the B.H store for you), because as a pk'er who may be spending 6,500 per bolt it's just a waste of time and money to fight a guy who barely drops anything of value.

So, to simplify for those who don't read the whole thing
1- Range needs better improvements to it's imbues, or add weapons with more spec options. This is the reason people need to hybrid and use a maul as well in order to actually get a KO.

2- Untradables need to be lost on death, and give a reward to the winner of the fight in some way. The reason players aren't risking what they could be is because it's just not financially worth it. Even if they do win the fight, why risk when the opponent is able to pick up most of their stuff again?

so true. And once again pvp is not really about making a steady cash flow, its a gamble mostly. I don't even see the need for rewards when all you're doing is killing people in the wilderness but with a target, similar to before. There's not much incentive like other more dedicated minigames (think pest control, barbarian assault), and similar pvp minigames like clan wars and castle wars have no big game-changing or money-making rewards.

See here's the problem with all these suggestions that are relevant in PVP:

barbarian assault - fighter torso (+4 str, less def than a rune plate)
warrior's guild - rune defender (good atk and str bonuses, poorer def than a shield)
clan wars- nothing
castle wars - nothing more than cosmetics
Fight caves - fire cape, best defences, slight str and prayer bonus
Pest control - void set (10% accuracy&damage boost, similar defences to blue dhide)

There are basically 1 pvp relevant item (or a set from pc) here from all these minigames. They're mostly for melee and they all have their drawbacks- they are very risky to use and don't get protected plus 1.

Yet people want to add 5+ items for bounty hunter when its not even a very dedicated minigame like the above? You can just go round killing people like you would before bounter hunter was around!!! What's so reward- worthy about that??? And things like the saradomin tear just benefit 1 iteming? glad the dragon spike isn't being released because that would kill dead the warriors guild. suggestions for pvp armour also kill the need for the armour listed in the minigames above.
Pkers looking for shortcuts to having the best stuff - not gonna happen. Next you'll be asking for an identical alternative to a d scim because you don't want to do monkey madness lol

Target Skip Tickets
Cost: 20K Bounty Hunter Tokens
Use: Allows you to Skip your Target and get a new one immediately without being penalized or resetting your kill streak(Three Times a Day Limit & can't be used an hour wishing in each other) Five Tickets would allow you to skip a 30 minute Penalty Period.(Could only be used once a day for this purpose)

PVP ARMOR

Did this Fail a poll? Yes. But that poll didn't incolve Bounty Hunter as far as I'm aware.
Cost: 10M a Piece or 25M for the set.
Use: You know what it's use is.
I would like to see them as strong as previous PVP Armors except didn't names and looks. Requires Level 78 Defence with no weapons to accompany them.

Hardened Granite Maul shouldn't last for 1,000 Attacks it's a 50K weapon now and it's only used for the Special attack so it's going to be able to perform it's special attack like 250 times before crumbling to dust.

I think it should crumble after 300-500 Attacks maybe at max otherwise it's not going to affect the Granite Mauls price overtime which it should because it's a weapon obtained from Slayer that is very worthless and it's just not worth doing Gargoyles when they're 50K gp.

All of these things sound great, I especially love the teleport to target spell idea. That would be an incredibly convenient way to not lose targets due to banking, and eliminate the amount of time it takes to find your target while in the wilderness. At the same time, you could set up some hilarious ambushes with your friends deep in multicombat wilderness.
