" Godswords have no stab-attack bonus, yet they have 'Stab' as their Accurate combat mode. Change this to a 'Crush' combat mode.
In previous discussions we'd proposed offering a 'Slash' combat mode. However, the swords have an extremely high slash-attack bonus already, and some players were reluctant to see them given even more slashing capabilities."

So the "accurate" mode won't even be any more accurate than the aggressive mode, in fact it will be less accurate because it will be +85 crush (or w/e it is) against +132 slash. The 3 attack levels you get by using accurate won't make up for that so isn't this essentially the same problem?

Didn't read the post. Just thought ide say f2p needs to be implimented fairly soon if this game is to survive. Its my favorite game out there, and just started back up 5 days ago. Its already incredibly obvious to me. Jagex must know this, yet I hear its set in stone there will be no f2p. Is this true? I really want this game to be around for a long time. Sounds like this is self harm on Jagexes part.

Jagex has self-harmed again by choosing three very lame updates for the top 5.

If they nerfed the specs of the Godswords all to 60% to balance it, I'd see no problem in granting Slash to Accurate.

BGS to 60% too? xD

I'm slightly confused because aggressive is slash already and accurate only adds +3 attack as opposed to +3 strength on aggressive. There'll pretty much never be a need to use accurate on a godsword unless attacking the red pc portal which iirc is quite a bit weaker to crush than any other style.

Yes, including BGS. It'd probably make it more equal to AGS, but still lower in price due to the popularity of Bandos.

I'll vote for soul snatcher if it's rewards aren't too crazy powerful (OR IF THEY ARE; but are either untradable and are unusable in PvP-Dangerous, and naturally take a while to earn).

Also, am i the only one around here that's keen on sticking with keeping old school, old school? Not saying these ideas are bad! Just saying before we add anything like this into the game, i'd rather see Clan Wars Return in Wildy near the green dragons (teleport option on the ring of dueling). And MAYBE Soul Wars... not sure about that one yet, but i do remember it being a fun mini game.

Anyways that's my 2-cents! Cool ideas, but I'm not too keen on any being put into OSRS. I'd rather the current game get the patches it needs first and then possibly bring back some content from '07+ that everyone knows and will suit the game, rather than brand new, unheard of quests/mini games that never existed in Old School Runescape.

Just don't like the idea of turning OSRS into a server for trying out player designed content like it's some sort of a bet, i'd rather keep it Old School and have fun playing it the way it is.
