I wanna say I really agree with this guy, especially about putting it in the underground pass. Having to travel through the pass would definately give you a sense of an exploring adventurer on a treacherous journey to rid the world of an evil monster. Plus, it would slow down the rate of new items entering the game because it would take at least 10 minutes or so to get down there. I also think the underground pass could be used as a great place for pking. Either way, the underground pass needs to be used for something!

This is the one thing which needs to happen, people under the level of 100 shouldn't have the ability to vote in this poll, what pure's going to say oh yeah we want spirit shields, the community is toxic enough to simply say no because it doesn't effect them. Similar to how you would only ask people within the research bracket for their opinion on a product, this poll needs to be handled carefully for the most accurate results possible.

I personally corped in rs3 before eoc ruined it, it was my favourite and happened to be the most challenging boss available. The drops are required to be worth the time invested therefore i see no need for the shields to be nerfed or at least not any time soon due to lack of them in the game. I could understand if they were common, easily obtainable then yes i would agree they require a nerf but from my experience of corp that's not the case. I could sit at corp all day in a 3-5man team and not even see a single sigil, i could go to a mass of 40-50 people and see only 1 every 14 hours.

I understand it's what the majority wants, and i'm all up for in"corp"orating new items into the game through corp but you better either make those items worth the corp grind or you'll simply make corp another dead zone. The shields were worthwhile simply due to the fact divine was 1b, ely 600m and so on... this was many months after release and the prices were stable. You need to keep these extremely high valued items in order to make it worth pvm'ers time.

Furthermore, hasta shouldn't be capped and have its damage reduced to 50%. There are no overloads, no dreadnips, no soulsplit. The ability to use a hasta and a rune defender or dfs wouldn't be a massive benefit. I'm completely unaware if a zammy hasta was available in rs3 because i'd never seen one o_O

NO, nobody wants to get pked, nobody wants to waste supplies, nobody wants to waste 10 minutes getting to corp and furthermore nobody wants to have to welfare it 24/7. Evidently you don't understand how easy it is to get 1 hit at corp. They'll most less or likely add a minigame teleport or add it to the games necklace like they did previously so there's no reason it cannot stay where it was in the wildy previously.

THIS ADDITION SHOULD NOT LIMIT OR PREVENT THE COMMUNITY FROM PARTICIPATING IN THE KILLING OF CORPORAL BEAST.


Putting a Quest Point / Combat minimum as a restriction would not be beneficial. Most of the 'elite' or 'high level players' who would meet these requirements will be too busy slaying and Corporal beast will soon become a non-active part of Old School Runescape.

By letting everyone join, including those who may have 99 range and 70 defense, an integral part of the beast killing, Corporal beast will THRIVE.

~~Please do consider no minimum or requirement, as that will be another update which limits much of the community.**

Ok then, if thats how it will happen then i was BH repolled and only allow people that actively PK to be able to vote on it. See how that doesnt work? if that's how the polling system worked there would be no need for polling system ... only the people that want it would be able to vote so it'd almost always pass.

I'm not sure why nobody has mentioned this before, but how about a Total Level Requirement?

Corporal Beast Requirements:
1750 Total Level - Proves you are worthy of slaying the Corporal Beast.
200 Quest Point - You already need 175 for Barrows Gloves, 25 more won't hurt.
100 Combat Level - No explanation necessary.
Combined level of 170 (Attack + Strength) - 40 more than Warrior's Guild.
70-80 Agility to enter the cave.

I don't know, these are fair necessities to be able to do the boss.
The Divine and Elysian Spirit Shields should be nerfed to the same level as Arcane and Spectral Spirit Shields.
