I think some people are stuck in nostalgia which, in time, would make a game that never grows and stagnates - eventually leading to a loss of players.

And as for 'crawling its way back up', with the sheer difference in updates that distinguish OSRS from other Runescape, hell even pre EOC, it would probably take 20 years to get to that point. Remember, other runescape has and had a huge workforce behind every update, OSRS has a 7.

Why need even better gear? so more ppl can solo the bosses we currently have?

It feels like we're making easyscape again. It's ok to have a new boss so players can still train there PvM-skills to a higher level, but it should only drop current in-game items. Just in bulk like ranarrs (ppl complaining they being so costly). Any new high-tier weapon/gear would make it even more even.

Within my suggestion I proposed Elite/Veteran PvM. A new standard that will present challenge to Runescape 2 again. By introducing more difficult PvM we can begin introducing better drop tables. Current bosses can become Mid-Level content and will never out date them, only progress them. The drop tables will be sure to balance each other: a new weapon comes in and needs a check, introduce a new armor or consumable! Simple.

I think it could just have a cave in wildy, but I wouldn't mind if it had a quest point (150ish) or combat level (90ish) requirement.

As for the drops, I do really want to see the spirit shield and blessed spirit shield, as these are nice lower level prayer shields. In fact, I'd also love to see some of the other spirit monsters, like the wraith, that could drop these. So the non-sigil shields should be re-added for sure.

As for the sigil shields, I feel they should be changed. The main reason is because we had a mage offensive and a mage defensive with two soaking shields, which don't seem as relevant now that we have the wildy wards. So instead of bringing them back like before, I think they should be rare, elite, level 75 versions of the wards. So it could work like this:
-A shield requiring 75 magic and 75 defence giving strong magic offence, good melee and magic defence, and prayer.
-A shield requiring 75 ranged and 75 defence giving strong ranged offence, good mage and range defence, and prayer.
-A shield requiring 75 atk or str and 75 defence giving +12 to melee attack, +5 to str, good melee and ranged defence, and prayer.
So the mage and range shields would be direct upgrades of the wards with higher stats and prayer. The melee would be a mix off defender offence and dfs defence with prayer; but it would not be more offensive than a defender or more defensive than dfs, just a mix with added prayer.

There also could be a 4th spirit shield again that works more like the elysian. This would have lower defensive stats than the others, closer to the blessed, but it would be a hybrid shield with prayer. It could also gain a soaking effect like the elysian, maybe scaled down a bit to occur less often or absorb less damage. This would of course be the rarest.

Also, since the sigils are very rare I wouldn't mind another drop with a more common rate. Maybe a level 75 shortbow =D Or a crush weapon. Or a hybrid helm.

200 QP is bad idea , why newbies with 50 quest points but enjoying the game cannot kill corp beast ?

It can drop spirit shields and stuff i dont mind but , im 100% sure that you will add drops like ranarrs , runes and dragon hides into the drop list making it not worth to do dragons for money . In RS 3 corp was like free stuff lottery in masses .
If you want to join feel free to post your application and then join cc Hero PvM and add any ranked star for gear check :)

I like corp but i honestly think it needs tweaks... I personally would do this;

- 100+(or more) Quest Points
- 100+ Combat
- Don't add Corp-cave in the wilderness
- stats in same position as before
- Shields rebalanced
- Shields to be less rare
- They should look like the same
- Weak against Hastas
- If you die your stuff won't be on ground before several minutes(Many will die easy)
What are you, a concerned beaver?

Maybe you could make a mini-quest (unlisted) where you have to go into this 'Cave' by moving/mining boulders, slashing/burning roots or whatever may be blocking the path then discovering this 'Corp beast' at the end of the cave :)

would be able make the reqs. through this miniquest to be able to reach corp
(like str/mining lvls to move the rock etc.)



For the shields keep them the same stats but remove the anti-dragon fire protection
(if they had them or not - cant remember lol) to keep the DFS still of some value.
