Most these people don't understand business. I agree micro-transactions are over the top at the moment, but they are also essential in keeping Runescape running, including OSRS!

How can you say it is essential to keep the game running without any numbers?
How much of the revenue is put back into the game and how much is put in the pockets of the shareholders?

I'm really not sure if you grasp the gravity of what you have just done. People have been up in arms about this, for weeks. There has been constant pushback on all the stuff you do.

And you come out with another wishy washy load of flowery bull that you've phrased in such a way that you can EASILY spin on it. "Oh, we said we'd bring back 2CT next year, so here it is in January" "We are never doing the Prize Pool again...Here's the Loot Loch instead."

And we all know it. We. All. ****ing. Know it. We can see through you like glass, and know your promises are just as fragile.

I know that you're now going to try and put up the wall of silence and wait for us to die down. And knowing this community, they might. But not me, and I'm sure others follow my lead: We're done listening to your lies. Our faith is gone. Our hope is gone. And our patronage is now also gone.

If you're going to recycle the same speech you did from last year, let me do the same:

Talk.

That's all you people do.

The way that we have been treated, Microtransaction wise, has left us with zero trust in your words. You've made promises before. You said you'd ease up on the MTX. But you lied. You lied to all of our (virtual) faces. Again and again. And I'm sure I am not the only one that is truly and utterly sick of being deceived.

Grow some integrity and get your goddamn act together if you want to stay in business.

Oh, and to echo the sentiments I've made before: All you OSRSers out there, look upon what Jagex has wrought, and know that, for all their promises, they could turn on you at any moment and savage you the same way they've savaged us. Keep that in mind when you repeatedly say "Come to OSRS" and draw more and more people over there, making yourself a bigger target.
Fullblown non-playing lurker since 26/06/17. May come back if both the devs and the MTX team get their bloody act together.

You say this stuff every year. And still have yet to come in. It is nice to know you are doing a rework....again.... of TH.


But you are missing the entire point. The Prize Pool updates was one of the better things.... so you remove it....


You are mis understanding everything we are telling you. We don't like promos that is going to take 200+ keys to finish a damn map..... the butterfly thing from 2014 or 2015 and the Journey to the Arc promo was horrendous... You need over 200 keys.

We shouldn't.... HAVE to spend money in order to finish a damn promo that takes over 100 keys.....


I also think MTX should be taken to OSRS.



Edit: I know you need money and MTX is one of the best thing to do. All games do it. I don't see why you can't... But you GOT TO STOP with the 100+ key bullshit things. Anything that is going to take more than 30 to 50 keys is going to push a lot of people away. Come the Sixth-Age, the world will need the World Guardian.
