100% = x2 The reward for oddments says x2. Therefore a 100% oddment bonus. Go look.

And yes, each time during the loot duels promotion you receive an experience, skilling, protean, or antique chest you are guarenteed 450 oddments. i tested it out last night myself.

Also, you VERY frequently receive those chests.

nobody said it's double rewards, but you get a unique chest and can redeem for 450 tokens, which is enough to buy a new key, oh my lord...

and yes they are, have you never used loot duels? you get them literally every other or every 2 chests lmaooo


It's 2x oddments when you convert. just go spin 1 and look.

You guys need to calm down, but PvM is right. You can actually push the oddments for more rewards than normal through the loot duels promotion. I am not going to do it because I don't want to get banned, but he is right.

Calm down though this is just runescape forums..

Nobody is guaranteed to get 450 tokens with every key. It is simple as that.

Calm down though this is just runescape forums..

You can get 450 oddments doesn't mean you always get 450 oddments with every key. I can get a dye with a clue scroll but it doesn't mean I always get a dye with every clue and therefore it is not an exploit.

That is true, but the rate in which unique chests appear in the Loot Duels promotion is rather high. You can expect things such as: one every 3 times or possibly 5 or more in a row. I have personally experienced more than 5 unique chests in a row before. So instead of being rare, like a dye, they are quite common. I think he was saying they are too common and therefore too powerful.


I personally think the loot duel promotion is overpowered. I'm currently at 8k oddments just from using free spins i find skilling, daily, challenges, and randomly. This thread needs to be closed though, it's not hosting a very intelligent conversation. Neither of you seem to be fully reading eachother's posts and the argument has gone quite astray.


Could an Fmod look this thread over, should they happen across it?
