I can kill a Telos and get something I can sell for several times of 200 mil gp but so what?

I can do a clue scroll and get a dye worth several times of 200 mil gp but so what?

There are already a lot of ways different players can get items worth 200 mil gp or more. TH is just one of the many ways, but not the only way.

Free players can't kill Telos or do clue scrolls and therefore have no chance for such >200 mil drop but free players can still win TH prizes. Should we complain about membership being more pay to win than TH?

That's not Blackwing's point, though. Sure, you can get a hyper-valuable dye or rare loot, but it's a player that's paying for it. Money is changing hands, but it's not being instantaneously created like a 200m Jackpot from TH is. Coin drops from TH literally create money in the economy, and by definition, inflation.

Draco is closer to the mark by comparing it to Alching, which actually does create new coins, and by definition, inflation. The difference, of course, is scope. Sure, given enough time and materials, any one of us could create 200m from alching (or even coin drops from PvM), and contribute to inflation. But with few, if any, exceptions, it's a much, much slower impact than suddenly making 200m+ of brand new coins appear in a player's hands.

Considering the rarity of a Lucky drop, the impact of one jackpot winner probably isn't all too noticeable. But over time, it adds up.

When a player buys membership with real money can kills a Telos for a >200 mil drop, no real money is paid to Jagex other than from that player's own wallet. No money is chaning hands between players. That player simply pays Jagex and "wins" more (in term of virtual items) than the free players. How does this show members are not directly more pay to win than free players who can get TH gp prizes but not membership drop?

Lol how can you even make this kind of comparison. Paying membership does not automatically give you 200m and free telos kills, whereas buying keys will get you those prizes immediately for just holding down spacebar. °l||l° Modest Skillers T7 Citadel | Skilling clan recruiting players. °l||l°

LOL. Being able to kill Telos is only one of numerous benefits of buying a membership. Don't forget you can also get FREE Loyalty Points you can get auras and other goodies. You don't even need to hold down any keys. You can also get FREE items from Raffle too.

Don't forget you can't even buy Auras with 200 mil gp.
