From August 15th to August 19th, there's triple trouble in Treasure Hunter!

Alice’s peaceful domain has been invaded by a monstrous three headed dog who is NOT a good boy. Unbelievable, I know.

Win Cerberus' favour and you can unlock a permanent multiplier which will double or even triple your prize during the promotion!

You might also be able to get your hands on some sweet infernal loot: The Cerberus Bow, Claws, and Staff. Check them out below:

Greetings Jagex,

These cosmetics look pretty neat, especially the bow IMO, but the fact that they come from Treasure Hunter devalues them and the game overall; if they were earned via actual gameplay only, they could be a true, meaningful achievement, and if properly balanced they wouldn't devalue other cosmetics in the game by being something you can simply buy with real money.

Thus, please remove these from Treasure Hunter and add them into actual gameplay only. And while you're at it, please also remove Treasure Hunter, as it damages the game's integrity anyway in several ways.

Cheerio,

As other gaming companies are starting to implement as we going to get odds on these cosmetic items?

You know what are the actual chances of even getting these items?

i wonder if we can work out the odds? we can see the odds of winning each rarity on mobile already.

Since there will be like 5000000000000000m of these entering the game no one will care about them just like 90% of the other tokens. Doesen't matter if they look nice or not. Everyone only cares about the value and not the looks. I feel like my snack yak is worthless because everyone else has 1.

If something was discontinued, it could still eventually have some value because they'd both decrease in active number and gain historical significance, but yeah, if Jagex doesn't change this and goes in with the MTX approach and not discontinued, these'll be meaningless cosmetics.

more pay to win, you dont understand the people who play this game if you keep pumping ths s*** out. why not just make good content which will bring players to rs3 rather then making content pay to win so a small portion of rich people.

Actually you can do it yourself and publish the odds from Mobile apps. I don't see why not.

However, it is already a known fact from numerous games "low" (e.g. less than 1 in 10,000 in PUBG for their rarest slot) odds don't stop players from buying their loot boxes. The key reason is their regular prizes are very useful, although not as rare, too. It is the same case in TH. Most players are just happy to get stars and lamps. The purple rares are extra surprises! :)

the odds for each gem are listed on TH when you use the mobile app, the odds for each item? nope lol

anways...

Finally some new claws overrides, and the staff may look good too, not a huge fan on the bow though, Will try and get them assuming I can just trade for them.
