Cerberus is just a mythical fictional creature. Similar to the Easter Bunny or Santa Claus, anybody can make different content in their own IP referencing those fictional characters.

RS3's Cerberus obviously doesn't have any reference to OSRS's Cerberus or the Cerberus in Greek mythology. Otherwise, one may also imply Cerberus weapons, outfits or other cosmetics are coming to OSRS. ;)

agreed. why limit people to actually participating in content when they can just pay to skip it?

I know this is sarcasm, but how does it effect your gameplay if they do?

Whats really so bad about them playing the game how they want to?

Why must everyone be forced to play the same way?

It affects everyone because Jagex designs MTX so that as many people as possible are psychologically manipulated into spending money. In the case of cosmetic MTX, they try to design them so that you would be attracted to them instead of non-MTX cosmetics, and when there's a boring/limited time grind "option" involved on getting the MTX cosmetics, that "option" is designed to be so boring/time consuming that you'd much rather pay to skip it.

Regarding the second part, if a player spends money to skip playing the game, they are literally not playing the game because they're skipping the action of doing it. If as a game designer/developer you produce gameplay that people would rather pay to skip than actually play, you have failed to produce fun gameplay. And games are supposed to be fun.

Exactly.

So whats so bad about ppl having "fun" by getting to the parts that they want to quicker?

I mean what is/isn't "fun" is subjective.

If Jagex designed the game to be fun as first priority, they'd either fix the boring parts to be fun or remove the boring parts entirely, instead of exploiting addicted people for more money like this. People already pay for the membership fee, that should get them a fun game without any boring parts.

Once again you still don't understand that not everyone has the same "fun" of the game as you do.

So what you call "boring parts" to others might be the "fun" parts.

Greetings Jagex,

These cosmetics look pretty neat, especially the bow IMO, but the fact that they come from Treasure Hunter devalues them and the game overall; if they were earned via actual gameplay only, they could be a true, meaningful achievement, and if properly balanced they wouldn't devalue other cosmetics in the game by being something you can simply buy with real money.

Thus, please remove these from Treasure Hunter and add them into actual gameplay only. And while you're at it, please also remove Treasure Hunter, as it damages the game's integrity anyway in several ways.

Cheerio,

they're literally 200k each in the GE lmao
