Spend a few real $$$ and buy a Bond, sell for gp and you can skip buy not just this cosmetics but plenty of stuff.

Jagex give the players plenty of ways to obtain most items. They can play, or pay, or both, for most virtual items.

Probably because players like the other prizes, mainly XP lamps/stars a lot more than cosmetics. Untradeable items are far more prestigious than tradeable ones that can be bought with in game currencies earned through playing.

Cosmetics MTX only works mainly when they are not trabeable but purchasable with real money.

It's a red prize which can be farmed on thousands of f2p alts causing the prices to crash to nothing. Purple prizes like rainbow are rarer and have more value. I need my blue charms back.
