I'm surprised you fed Spammy Burnz' post count with so many posts.. what a waste..

Anyway, I'm all for new partyhats, and am also in support of finding a better price tracking for originals to better balance their true value. Since only thing tracking them is players on the forums. And not even including every trade into their tracking.

I don't mind unrelated partyhats on TH because as you can see by the current partyhat owners who have posted in this thread, they are an entitled lot who refuse anything partyhat related. Most likely they feel safe with their partyhats, and don't want anything that has any remote chance of decreasing their value.

My issue is that they feel safe. As if the most valued item in the game shouldn't be risky, or ever revisited for expansion.

If players are the only thing keeping prices in check, and the prices skyrocketed ever since... (it took 12 years for blue to finally reach max cash, and 4 years later it was 20b.) Something needs to be changed, even if it's entirely new versions being added. New versions can be added in any possible way, such as for free on a daily lottery, or via a store for any price over 1b, to maintain their high status purpose. But there's nothing to say it's wrong to suggest an update like this even if it does have a chance to lower originals.

Temporary support from me.

Hey, thanks, man! [Edited]

Thank you again for the temporary support, it really means a lot!

No support for many reasons.
1. Adding to the partyhat line will mess too much with its history and affect the prices of current partyhats. Sometimes it's best to leave history as it is.
2. Odd selection of colours - dark blue/ dark green/ lime?? We already have those colours we don't need more variations of the same thing. If this ever happens gg to the prices of current partyhats - particularly green and blue.
3. Orange seems to better suit halloween and isn't really a christmassy colour. I'd rather an orange halloween mask etc. Wouldn't mind new entries of lower rares.
4. I don't like the means of using Treasure hunter to introduce holiday related tradeable rares. Why can't these partyhats be released just like the originals. It's for this reason I actually dislike how the black santa hat was released.
5. I'd rather a black partyhat before any of these colours.[/quote]

1: wat
2: ? Right now, we just have ordinary blue and ordinary green, not the dark/bright versions.
3: So, what you're saying is we can't have anything orange outside of hallow w'een? What makes these new partyhats related to christmas, anyway? They're hats for parties, if they were for christmas I would call them "Dialobical Consumer Greed Hats".
4: Again, not holiday related.
5: Thought we already had that, but I guess only in OSRS. I'll add that.
1. Releasing new partyhats will effect the prices of current partyhats. (X)
2. the existing blue and green colours are already dark blue and lime green respectively.
3. no, just that it'd be odd seeing an orange partyhat. Partyhats are related to christmas and white, green, red, yellow and blue are commonly used colours of christmas related stuff like decorations.
4. no mtx support.
5. ~

I support the introduction of a black partyhat as long as these conditions are met:
1. they are dropped by new christmas crackers on runescape similar to the originals. Perhaps a lot smaller in numbers to make it rare like the existing partyhats?
2. they aren't a method of a quick cash grab for jagex like the black santas were
3. they aren't released or related to anything mtx.

Going by the nature and history of Jagex, the chances of these condition being met are near zero.

You have to understand, when I say "DARK" blue, I mean really,
really
dark, and with lime green, I mean really,
really
lime.

It could be tradeable, and from the ORIGINAL christmas crackers.

I agree that this idea needs a severe rework, but nothing's set in stone quite yet, also it would eventually need to be moved to another forum, though I originally proposed it being from mtx, and no something else because mtx is the only thing Jamflex adds.
