Greetings! Head over to Treasure Hunter this week from September 13th (00:00 game time) through to September 17th (23:59 game time) to take a look at the new Crystal Capsules !

Open up Treasure Hunter and you’ll see a panel detailing the rarities of crystals you can claim, and a selection of eight crystals that are unlocked with keys – these contain all the prizes! Keep an eye out for the rare shadow gem , which rewards fabulous prizes:

- Shadow gem necklace
- Shadow gem cape
- Shadow gem crown
- Shadow gem sack
- Various Protean items
- 10 free keys!

Not happy about the rarity of the prizes you have in front of you? Well, good news – you can reset your pool , providing you meet the following requirements:

- You’ve unlocked at least four gems in the current pool
- You have 100 hearts of ice, which will be consumed
- There is no unlocked shadow gem in the pool - it must be unlocked before the pool can be reset.

So basically, a mishmash of copy-pasted cosmetics and exp items? Not really that exciting, but here's how you can fix the situation:

1. Put the shadow cosmetics to Solomon's store, or better yet, add them to actual gameplay as rewards for actually doing something.

2. Remove TH, as it's neither necessary any longer, nor good for the health of the game.

I think if they just took out the Exp items from TH, than it would be alright to keep it around. The promotion is not really bad, just cosmetics ( lets just ignore the protean items for now).

Than again I am an ironman, so i don't see any of these promo's anyway lol A Lion is just a big cat... with bigger teeth

TH isn't fine to stay even if it only offered cosmetics, because it'd still be predatory gambling; you still wouldn't know exactly how much a reward you want would cost you, unlike in Solomon's store, where you know the precise price, because RNG is not involved.

What makes TH even worse in that regard, is that Jagex hasn't even revealed the % chances to receive each prize, so you can't even calculate an approximation. The only information you have is the rarity color, but it's too vague.
