As you cannot have more than one of these gloves, the others were removed after you received your first and only glove. You can also get these gloves, as well as all the other skilling outfit pieces, for free from Diango or any bank at any time and cannot be traded.

This is working as intended. Be the change you would like to see in the world.

This has been a problem for years. It's too hard to code the gambling box system to tell you "multiples of this item are destroyed" so, it just lies to you. Really they should put 'outfit tokens' as a prize. 1 token = 1 random outfit piece via an NPC shop.

Immortalized, just to refresh your memory, what you keep calling "scam" is indeed a feature that multiple versions of UNIQUE prizes can only be converted to multiple times of oddments but you only receive one copy of the prize otherwise.

Please re-read many many many threads regarding TH that you keep calling scam like this one:

Not all prizes are stackable so you get one and the rest are converted to coins in a bad rate!
Imagine a 200m prize and 5x then you only get 200m and the other 800m will be converted to trash coins! Is indeed a TH troll!

Again, on Jan 9 or 11 months ago you already found out you only get multiple times the oddments but not the same Skiskmisher Cuirass. And you knew it evidently as you wrote:

"at least this time it gave me oddments. last time i won "2x" slayer masks i only received 1 mask and absolutely nothing extra"

Yeah, the unique items you can only win one of, regardless of what multiplier is attached to your prize. Tokens are a different matter though.

When the bloodtusk armor promotion ran a little while back on Undergrowth, I found a token for an armor piece on an x4 square, so I won 4 of those tokens. I redeemed one, and traded the other three for the three other tokens, including the squeaker axe token. I essentially got the entire armor/weapon package by using one TH key. :)

Recently, since the advent calendar began, I've noticed a new, sort-of-related TH scam:

During some, but not all, of the TH promos that have been changing daily, we are being cheated out of oddments when discarding prizes that have been multiplied. For example, when Rainbow's End ran again yesterday, I won x3 small stars. However, discarding these 3 stars for oddments only gave me what we get for cashing out just 1 small star. So I got penalized for not happily taking the 3 small stars and discarding them for oddments, which I can use anytime, unlike BXP.

Today's promo, however, does give oddments for each prize discarded when discarding multiplied items.

Perhaps this has happened to others before December 1st, but it only began happening to me this month. Aslon Dak: Still 'Scaping after 19 years!
