With RuneFest practically confirmed as happening again this this year, I'd like to request that jagex consider fansites during your planning process and not just as an afterthought. What that means, I'm not sure yet, but having an official space for fansites that is listed on any lanyard packets... or times listed of which fansites will be there at which times. Having a Fansite staff meetup officially organized by jagex would be a fun thing (possibly combined with clan admins to make it worth jagex's time?).

I encourage other Fansite staff to post what they might want for fansites at RuneFest in this topic. Maybe you just want a poster with your logo put up or maybe you think you're worthy of your own side stage session... let's gather some ideas nice and early and hope for the best!

I expect the community team to have a stronger involvement in the process this time and so for there to be more consideration fansites, made earlier in the process. But point noted.

And please don't all answer "tickets" as to what you might want at RuneFest - that is really not realistic and I would much rather some constructive discussion we can actually look to support :)

Thank you Lilroo for reading my mind and posting a thread like this :) , I am always curious how RuneFest will be for Fansites, although I wish I could attend this year that would not be likely. I never really got the opportunity to see how the Fansite Posters look like or what the Fansite area looks like and how that all went. But its something I guess you have to experience being there. I know last year RuneFest I had a opportunity to have one my staff's hand out some RuneScape Bonds to player which was amazing to see all the tweets of people receiving them. Wish I could do it this year, but I have big, BIG things planned and do not have the investment to get more real life bonds to RuneFest.

I have so many things in mind that would be cool for fansite and something that is worth doing, but I am still developing this idea not to sure I will have it done in time for RuneFest but I am working hard :) .

My only request to you Matthe, and I know its something that you might not be able to do. I just really would love to see images of Fansites doing their sessions maybe Videos, just to see something like that would give me a bit of encourage to really invest to go as a Fansite owner. But again the cost is big for me which is still hard for me to attend. But either way as I always say I look forward to next year RuneFest :) .

The only think I have to suggest is show that Fansites are having a session, I think that has always been a issue for all RuneFest. As well as maybe give all fansites a opportunity to have their poster in the Fansite area. I would understand if you would only wish to limit this to Supported fansites.

Again I look forward to reading all the feedback, as well as seeing how all the fansites did at RuneFest :) , as I enjoy those kinda of stuff, just give a amazing insight to things you don't get to see during RuneFest :) .

Hope that goes amazing for you :) , you could just record some interviews with a few JMods who has free time while you're there and just edit a full interview all together.

Does not sound like a bad idea at all, hope that goes really amazing for you :) . But when you're at RuneFest get a lot of interviews as possible even with the Community :) .

If i wanted to make a specialised item for runefest similar to the scapecentral bonds last year, but engrave a redeem code that will allow the code owner to redeem a bond with diango would that be possible?

Again, if you wish to recreate the item I made for promoting my new Fansite name as well as the item I plan to use again to promote some upcoming things for my Fansite then hey... Again it is one of the unique things that helped to promote my fansite as well as something that only a few people have which I plan to do again. So more players as well as JMods can have them as well.

But there is loads of many other items that you can have made in game and bring them to real life. As far as engraving a code in the back of them, I am sure it is possible for Jagex to do something like that. But if it was me I would more so put my own funds into buying those bond's as well as see if Jagex can make a redeemable code for players to enter so they can obtain them.

Again I know I don't own the Bond design but please do remember it is something unique to my fansite as well as a Yearly thing I plan to do. (I might not be able to do it this year as I am working on a bigger project. Which Mod Balance knows fully in detail about.)
