Also, Death said during the quest that he can see the gods' deaths because something akin to a soul forms within them, which will die as soon as they reobtain their godly energy.

Does that mean their death predictions are still valid? I asked about Zaros and it was described as a great heat, like a star.

I would assume so, since Saradomin was nowhere near a sword clash. I find it funny how he became less of a god when he wasn't ascended though.

I asked how Saradomin would die.
Apparantly something with sword clashes, so I'm guessing he gets cut down.

I just hope Zamorak is the one to cut him down.

Is this where everyone is falling on this?

To me, it clearly seemed like a misdirect. Sliske isn't Jas's agent - the Stone is. The person Sliske pretended to 'serve' is yet to be revealed. Which, I think, makes for a far more compelling story.

Doesn't Jas directly indicate Sliske as her agent? Not to mention that Sliske does refer to a "she", showing that his master is female.

"My agent. Explain its end."

This is all Jas has to say on the matter. Our character assumes she's talking about Sliske, but Jas doesn't comment directly on our actions, only on their nature. She never indicates Sliske at all.

Given her regard for mortals and gods, and the dialogue from Kindred Spirits, Jas being the instigator, or even taking notice of Sliske and the gods - their actions or destruction - doesn't seem to fit. Her caring about the destruction of the Catalyst (as an embryonic Elder, undeniably her agent) should be a given. I don't think the first question she'd ask us would be about Sliske, while the Catalyst goes unmentioned.

I expect to see Sliske's collaborator in future content.

There's a cutscene during the quest where Seren will muse over how Sliske drained the gods of their divinity, and asks you if you have any idea what is causing it.

Should you tell her you think that the Stone of Jas is behind it, she agrees with you, but states that only a 'seasoned user' would know how to generate this effect with the Stone. Therefore, she comes to the conclusion that either Sliske must have become extremely proficient with the Stone or he is receiving aid from somebody who already is.

Given Sliske's comment of 'she,' the dialogue from Seren, and the fact that Jas only abducted us after Sliske's death (and not the Stone's destruction), it's a safe bet that Sliske was Jas's agent, and not the Stone.

It's also worth noting that even though you only explain what happened to Sliske, Jas does not correct you and say that she was asking about the Stone. Given how direct she is about literally everything else, I find it highly unlikely that she'd avoid making such a correction if it were the case her agent was the stone. As such, I again come to the conclusion that she was likely referring to Sliske and not the Stone.

Player: Why?

Voice of Jas: Because

..............................

Let me get this straight. Jas helped Sliske for no reason? She's the matron and became Sliske's master, ordering him to bring the gods to the world...for no reason. Seriously?

Not no reason. She has a reason. You have to keep in mind that Jas is an utterly alien consciousness to most mortal life. She doesn't understand most mortal conventions. As such, when you ask 'Why?' with no clarifications as to what you are asking about, she proceeds to answer the very broad question of 'Why?' And she does so in the most direct way possible.

In other words, you didn't ask her the question you thought you had asked her.
