It seems that Mahjarrat dig an awful lot of holes. Let's look at all the examples.
Perhaps the biggest example is Bilrach. He dug down Daemonheim looking for Zamorak, another Mahjarrat in a hole! Moia, a half Moleharrat, didn't dig any holes, but did go down Bilrach's on Lucien's word.
Zamorak made two holes, though they were rather shallow. The first in the forinthry with his explosions. The second was on his return in BoL with Saradomin.
Sometimes, Mahjarrat dig holes right into each other! This includes Lamistard who dug into Zemouregal's hole. Digging into other people's holes is a big no no so he was sacrificed. Zemouregal also had holes in the wilderness.
Jhallan suffered a similar fate when he dug under the ritual marker and Lucien discovered his hole. Lucien also used other peoples hole digging to find the stone of Jas and Bilrach. Hence his death in Rotm.
Since there is no mention of Mizzarch digging any holes, we can assume he was sacrificed for that reason. Same with Ralvash and Palkeera.
Both Zemouregal and Enakhra dug holes in The World Wakes trying to get to Guthix as well. Enakhra was also in a hole along with Akthanakos that you had to dig into.
Kharshai seems very content in a hole in the ground in the fremennik lands as well. His experimentation with bane ore also implies he dug around for that as well.
Sliske is well known for his holes in the barrows. He also may have had to dig holes for the Stone of Jas depending on where you teleported it to. He also out dug all the other moleharrat to get to Guthix's hole. Is Guthix a Moleharrat?
The moment Azzanadra got out of the pyramid he went straight to hole digging at....the dig site!
Hazeel also has his base in a hole in the ground. He is Khazards mentor but seems dissapointed in Khazards lack of hole making. Khazard's dog is in a hole though.
Wahisietel is an odd one. He has no holes, but seems rather strong. Perhaps he is hiding his holes well?
Therefore the Giant Mole is a Molejarrat.
