So I know Bandos brought them from Yu' buisk to fight for him in the godwars but how did he bring them to Gielinor exactly? We know to bring Humans, Gnomes, Dwarfs, Fairies etc to Gielinor at the start of the 1st age, Guthix had to use the elder sword to create the world gate. Later after Guthix disappeared we know Seren got a hold of the gate and used it to bring the elves to Gielinor. We know the elves had it until it was take by Zaros at the start of the 2nd age as that's how they accessed the crystals for their city and weapons. Zaros used the gate to bring the Vyre from vampyruim to Gielinor, and more easily explore realms. We know the gate was hidden in the shadow realm around this time, so how did Bandos use it? Did he use it? Again how did Bandos bring so many goblins etc to Gielinor to fight for him in the 3rd age Godwars?

This is just one of many unanswered questions relating to the teleportation of mortals to Gielinor by the Gods. Bandos, Seren, Zaros, and Guthix aren't the only ones who did it. Whether you feel comfortable with any proposed answer really depends on your sense of scale. How many goblins is so many goblins and how quickly does Bandos have to bring them into count as a mass teleport instead of a trickle that accumulated to huge numbers over many centuries?

And why you focused on goblins, you racist against them? :P They aren't the only ones that we don't have evidence for having come through the world gate. Armadyl brought the Aviansie races, and he might have brought a lot. Zaros brought 12 Whole Demon Legions, composed of Avernic troops and Cthonian officers and commanders, without the world gate. He had to create a temporary one-way world gate, in a sense, to do it, and by most standards it was a lot of demons in a very short time span. We don't know how the apes and monkeys got to Gielinor or if it was Marimbo's fault. We don't know if Tumeken and Saradomin brought any humans or just borrowed from the tribes and colonies Guthix brought, which were in turn borrowed by Guthix from worlds Saradomin populated. Saradomin did bring in lots of Icyene most likely, along with lions, centaurs, and unicorns, and he didn't have access to the world gate as far as we know. We can assume after the rebellion in Pandemonium, Zamorak brought even more (free) Avernic demons. We don't know how Icthlarin teleported the whole living Mahjarrat species from Freneskae to Gielinor without Amascut's help (maybe the the help of the newly rejuvenated and highly motivated Mahjarrat helped a bit?)

And then there's complete mysteries like where did Char's species come from? How did Mother Mallum and the sea slugs arrive in Gielinor?

My point is, the World Gate isn't the only way to teleport in large populations.

As an addition, let me correct you on a minor point. The Fairies weren't brought to Gielinor; they were already on the moon when Guthix found a way into the Gielinor-Zanaris system.

They aren't native to Zanaris, of course; they come from the world Cheanannais according to Runefest sourced lore. They are naturally talented at teleportation and weather manipulation as well, according to Guthix's observation. They took advantage of a pre-existing rift that Guthix probably reopened to get there. RUDE

They did travel from world to world - it's interesting how.

The void pests use the Void to travel, perhaps other races have taken to doing so as well? Especially with a giant Spirit Beast clawing out more of the Void by destroying the Abyss all the time... Good thing we stopped it-- oh wait.

Perhaps you're half right; perhaps we can't win. But we can fight.

I know I was nitpicking the Goblins and was going to also ask about the Aviansie and Mahjarrat once I got an answer for how Goblins got to Gielinor. I'm just confused as to how the World Gate has any importance if these Gods can bring over species from other worlds without it. Why did Guthix bother using the Elder Sword to make the World Gate if it was completely unnecessary?

1. Inter-planar travel usually takes a substantial amount of power. As such, most inter-planar portals are relatively short-lived (ex: taking a god’s life seems to be able to power such a portal for years/decades).

2. The world gate(s) is/are permanent inter-planar portals, requiring no power to maintain. This owes to the elder blade’s apparent ability to irreparably damage the fabric of reality that would normally keep plane’s separate.

3. Guthix didn’t create the world gate(s) to populate Gielinor or travel the planes. Initially, Guthix used the elder blade to travel creation. At some point, Guthix discovered the odd properties of Zanaris and utilized them to travel to worlds from prior Great Revisions.

According to Guthix, these worlds were unreachable through use of the elder blade, but were connected by rents in the fabric between worlds that wouldn’t heal (seemingly having been caused by the travel of the elder gods when beginning another revision). It was around this time that Guthix realized that the portals created with the elder blade frayed the fabric of reality with each use (think: the warped floors of Daemonheim), and he went about containing them with pieces of the elder blade creating the world gate(s) (some of these contained portals were eventually altered by the nature of Zanaris and/or their connections to it and became the fairy rings).

The side effect of this was the creation of networks (at least 2) of permanent inter-planar portals that could then be used to populate Gielinor at little cost to Guthix.

4. The world gate(s) are particularly special in the ability to specify a destination plane. The only other permanent portals we are aware of (the Daemonheim rift/Teragard Schism, seemingly marking the path of the elder gods through this revision) allow no such luxury, unceremoniously dumping their passengers onto any random plane they connect to.

Oooh, I didn't know that about the Zanaris Rift. What lore established that it can be used to access planes from previous revisions?

The Memorial to Guthix. Specifically, the Elder Sword echo details the following:

I discovered rents in the dimensional fabric...wounds in the weave between worlds that will not heal. Those threads allowed me to find my way to many worlds that would otherwise have remained forever hidden from the Blade . Dimensionally speaking, Zanaris is a nexus of planar threads. Its radials spiral into a network of near-infinite ravaged planes: husks of dead worlds, drained of every ounce of life .

I've bolded the relevant bits that strongly imply that these are planes from past revisions that the elder gods fed upon.
