@Raven, what if, Zammy/Sara/Armadyl/Tuska had won world event 3?

You'd need to speak to one of the Tuska event devs for the full outcome of Tuska winning. There was definitely a plan, though of course it wouldn't have been "welp guys, the games over bye" as some people expected. But she would have done quite some damage.

If the other gods had won it would have meant that Vorago would not have been present in Endgame and we'd also have adjusted the previous stories to account for the new power. If someone other than Armadyl had killed Tuksa it would have helped to have made Endgame a little less one sided, definitely.

Aw, I was hoping to drag this series with multiple threads. But since Mod Raven is here, I have a couple other questions to ask.

1. What would happen if the Kinshra defeated the White Knights with the Invasion of Falador?

2. What would be the ramifications of Tuska beating the other gods?

Bonus Question: Will there be more World Events or player participation events that decide the outcome of a story?

We all do know that Soran was there on Tuska keeping up with the events. I believe had Tuska "won" Zaros would in fact showed up and killed Tuska just as easily even without the Anima we siphoned. Supporter of

I'll let other devs step in on the previous two questions, but I thought I'd put my oar in here.

My answer being: honestly, I'm not sure.

In many ways the World Events didn't go down too well when it came to their results affecting the outcome of the core game story. Many people didn't like that other people's choices impacted what they felt was a very personal story.

However, world events themselves are certainly big moments that have built together the collective story of the community. Most people remember them and still hold their faction choices as important. So there is some value there.

I think if we were to do another one, we'd have to divorce it from the individual story, but allow it to affect the wider world of RuneScape. Perhaps change the landscape and what we interact with, rather than drive any of the questlines.

I certainly, personally, wouldn't be a fan of having the existence of a god determined by a world event again.

Note: These are my personal opinions and are not necessarily the opinion of Jagex as a whole and so shouldn't be taken as any indicator of whether we will/won't do world events again. ;)

I'm going to share the sentiment that I wasn't a particular fan of other people's choices impacting my story. I was perfectly okay with how WE1 went down, but killing gods to me is a big no-no. The Bandos/Tuska community may have been minute, but I think they still should have a say in how their personal story goes.

I loved the worlds events, and I share your opinion on their outcomes.

P.S.: Still a proud Bandos supporter in WE2 :P

Aside from dialogue and all, nothing much aside from DAT.

I do wonder how COM would be if a T3 Zammy clashes with Zaros, or a T2 Zimzam.

Thinking about it right now; what would have happend if WE1 ended with a draw? Both god's losing their power and both being T5? Or all T3? Same with WE2 if it was a draw.

I can't help but wonder if winning BOL would have had a knock on effect to the Tuska event (since more players might think that Zamorak had a chance of winning).

If he had won both + gained from DAT quest I could really imagine COM going down very differently.
