Also, hmm kitty. Maybe the gnomes (and maybe dwarves?) are humans that saradomin brought to different worlds and they just evolved over time differently than the other humans on other worlds?

Now THERE'S an interesting idea. Something along the lines of genetic engineering perhaps, changing humans to be able to adapt to different planets?

Technically though humans would be the common ancestor not monkeys and monkeys or at least Ape's come from somewhere different entirely. At least according to Marimbo if you consider her canon at all at this point. Monkeys then evolving to different things on different planets though yes and then humans going further and interbreeding into centaur etc.

I would go as far to say even Icyene could be distantly related to humans though very.

I think scaperune might be a completely different universe instead of just another world in this one. It's like an anti/opposite-verse where good are bad and bad are good. The laws of physics/magic/whatever it is in rs are also different there (uncooking).

I would use the term different reality as opposed to different universe because 2 universes could exist in the same reality and I'm pretty sure in runescape they do.

I'd say its far more like that the schism in Teragard simply existed far longer than we realize, and tribes of humans have been leaving that world since the dawn of mankind.

The druids existed without knowing of Saradomin, and had few to no evolutionary differences between those who stayed on Teragard.

Dwarves, gnomes, elves, even werewolves, Icyene and proto-vyres could all have come from different tribes of humans far back into human evolution, leaving Teragard through the schism and adapting to survive on other planets.

I have a theory- we know that an imbalanced Anima Mundi is needed to create sentient life- but what happens to sentient life as it develops on such a plane? I believe it is modified- molded to fit the area in which it resides, which is why this Universe has such fantastic creatures within it.

Umm Aqua many of those aren't worlds... Also Pest don't come from the void, they go through the void from somewhere else, Jessica says its a lush planet.

Also imps come from infernus, or at least there is no reason to seculate that they don't seeing as they are demons, and arrive with the demon mob bosses.

What is considered as a 'world'? Do only planets count or does it include all sorts of dimensions/planes/other places? Do proto worlds count? Why don't moons count as 'worlds'? etc.

Isn't the Killerwatt plane just the clouds above Gielinor? Or am I completely wrong? :s

You're right.

Is there a source for this? I'm aware that there are some killerwats on the clouds of Gielinor (from Hot Air Balloon miniquest), but I don't think it automatically means that the killerwatt plane would be one of those clouds.
