This will be a place to explore any undiscussed areas of lore that we haven't had much of a focus in talking about or input and information released on.

*Most present existing cities that were founded in the 4th age, if not all were created on former god wars' battlefields and encampments according to Origins of Gielinor near the end of the video. If so what were they and where did all the bodies go from those fields?

*The Forgotten Cemetery(Not to be confused with Graveyard of Shadows): Was this place built and used to bury soldiers who died during the god wars? Its architecture does not match any other, and its down the slope of the god wars dungeon as well as north of where Dareeyak stood.

*What cities during the god wars were like.

*Armadylean land and Saradominist(Outside of Hallowvale/East Morytania) settlements during the 2nd age. Most to all Saradominist settlements during that time and the first stages elsewhere of the god wars were all at: Entrana, Southern Asgarina and Kandarian. While most Armadylean settlements on land where in Southwest Kandarin and its said many converted to Saradominism when Armadyl left Gielinor at the end of the third age.

A theoretical 2nd age Gielinor map:

*Carrallangar: What happened to it and what were its uses? Almost no traces are left of it, the same goes for Dareeyak(Except for gargoyles) and Kharyrll.

*Much of Third Age lore, alot of untold stories about the settlements, nations and races that existed during that time. Such as of the extinct creatures' skeletons that will be listed below:

Further improvements to come. Anybody who wants to add their own here is free to do so. I'm expecting many of these to be explored or answered when or if archaeology is released as a skill so to say.

I feel like undead lore is pretty undiscussed, right?
What exactly is a wight, for example - from what we've seen with Akrisae and Linza, it SEEMS to be a process that magically converts a living subject into an undead instead of resurrecting a dead person.
Or how undead souls work, there's that one.
Or what makes an undead able to cast magic - are they runeless, does their necromancer supply them with power, does the necromancer choose which minions get magic or do they just have to have been mages in life, etc.
Mods pls notice me

I feel like these will all be brought up when we get a Necromancy skill.

As for 2nd and 3rd age battles, I want something a bit more fleshed out, as well.

I am hoping Jagex ends up deciding not to go with Necromancy as an elite skill. It just makes no sense to me story-line wise. We're on good terms with Death, and Icthlarin, and the game has made a clear villain out of Nomad for his use of souls.

Of course, Necromancy has had some rare use in-game as something not depicted as wholly evil. Raising Senliten so that she can be communicated with, for example. The skill would fit fine if it was kept in line with such actions, but I feel like Jagex would make it about raising the dead and binding them to your will to eradicate life, because that is what most gamers would see as cool. If this ends up being the case, Death and Icthlarin should both probably hate us as much as they hated Nomad.

I feel like Necromancy would've been fine a few years ago, but the current state of the questing and the story makes it an awkward fit.

^^^ Agreed completely -- though I think we technically didn't raise her from the dead? More of a necrocommunion type deal, I think? Don't remember
Anyways, they could always introduce it as a noncanon skill - something that's gameplay only, that the actual character we play wouldn't do storywise. Because it has some nasty side effects too, and I doubt that'd be something they'd add to the game with a skill like that.

Nomad's seen as a villain in Death's eyes because he eats souls and sewed them into a monster god.

Necromancy is generally seen as evil by Death since it appears to bind the souls of the dead against their will to the whims of whatever mortal summons them.

Acknowledging that, should we work purely with Souls that want to aid us by their own free will (like is the case with Senliten), I see little reason why either Death or Icthlarin would take issue with that.

Ex: You kill a number of goblins. After the n-teenth one, you feel a soul calling out to you. Using your necromancy skill, you make contact with the restless soul and it tells you that it wishes to serve you as per Bandos's philosophy (you were stronger). Making an agreement, the spirit can now be called upon to aid you in combat.

Or you could use your necromantic skills to put ghosts or necromantically animated beings to rest, gaining boons for doing so.

Or you could commune with long dead heroes to bid them to join your cause (like whatever hero is buried at the lone grave in the Wilderness, Camorra, or Unlucky_Nooblet239).

Besides, it's not like they seem to care about us trapping souls in Shabti and forcing them into our own death pit to fight us over and over again.

That definitely works a lot better - especially the part 'bout using necromancy to lay necromanced beings to rest. Still, I don't imagine Death would be TOO happy, it still disrupts the balance of life and death. That said, I think he'd make an exception for the World Guardian. Mods pls notice me

He already potentially did once for Zanik at the end of Nomad's Elegy, allowing her to return to life for years.

I'm fairly sure he wouldn't mind us occasionally borrowing a soul for an hour or two, especially if the soul agreed to the deal without coercion.

Edit: We just need to promise not to make a plague spreading amalgam out of corpses to send forth and destroy our enemies (Roots in the Community).

To those cursed by war and pest, Come into the light of Armadyl and rest. This is the law of Armadyl.

No, it says they are 'The remains of an ancient beast'. The dragonkin is the other way, south of demonic ruins in the boneyard I think you can find one.
