Community. Equality. Creativity.

These are the three pillars of Team Windmill.

We strive to foster community in all that we do, both within the clan, and outside of it. Gielinor is a world full of people to meet and socialize with. We want to grow that network, and sense of community amongst all players. Come celebrate holidays, and community wide events spread across the Gielinorian calendar, from Death of the Weak Week, to the Gielinor Games, and beyond.

In Team Windmill, all are equal. Our clan uses ranks not to denote ones importance or value, but as a path system to welcome all players into helping to run the clan. We want all of our members to be leaders of the community.

We value creative gameplay, and Runescape's sandbox aspect. The world of Gielinor contains much to do, from group minigames, to player-created clue scrolls. We strive to delve into a variety of content, and always be inventing new ways to play.

Gielinor is an adventure. Come explore it with us.

~ Team Windmill Rules ~


Here we have our rules of conduct, which members should know and abide by. Most of these are common sense rules. Failure to act in accordance to these rules will result in action taken, of a measure determined by a clan leader, relevant to the severity of the broken rule, including a potential for expulsion from the clan for serious or repeat infractions.




Official Rules
While it goes without saying, Team Windmill is bound to the official rules of Runescape. You are already expected to know and abide by these, and Team Windmill will not assist or pardon any rulebreaking behavior within its ranks.

Watch Thine Tongue
As a member of Team Windmill, you are asked to keep language to a relatively family-friendly tone. Language of a vulgar, discriminatory, or sexual nature are forbidden in clan affairs. Furthermore, clan members are not to bypass the in-game censor. The censor can be toggled off for players that so wish, and forcing your language past the censor on players that choose to keep theirs on is frowned upon.

Siblings in Arms
Members of Team Windmill are forbidden from killing their fellow clan-mate in the Wilderness, or otherwise any other area of unsafe PvP. The exceptions to this rule exist in official organised clan events that take place in such areas, and explicitly allow for clan vs clan PvP, or in the event that both players agree upon a dangerous duel beforehand.

Better to Give than Receive
Members of Team Windmill are encouraged, but not required, to assist their fellow clan members in their day to day affairs. However, clan members should not come to expect the assistance of clan mates. As such, we ask that one does not ask their fellow clan members for handouts.

~ Team Windmill Ranks ~


Ranks provide little value. Many people intrinsically want to obtain ranks. It makes them feel valued. However, we're all friends here. This isn't a clique where the higher ranked members are the in-crowd, or lower ranked members matter less.

Ranks are hard-coded into the clan system however, so we've decided to structure many of our ranks as a kind of path system, that guide people into becoming more actively involved with participation in, and eventually the running of, the clan. We want all members to be leaders of the community.

The specifics of this path can be found on our clan forum, as well as the clan discord, for those that choose to use it.

~ The Clan Citadel ~

Currently Tier 2


Windmill Citadel, our floating castle in the sky.

First and foremost, know this: we take the stance that usage of the citadel is a choice. No one will ever be required to cap at the citadel in Team Windmill.

That said, there are many of us that enjoy using the citadel. We've only recently reopened our doors, and already we've quickly upgraded to tier 2. Now we begin construction of a mine, for the harvest of stone. It is enjoyable to work together towards a common goal, and see progress in a place we may call our own.



The citadel currently features a few amenities.

• The woodcutting plot exists to train the skill while generating clan resources.
• The battlefield allows for the creation and play of custom minigames.
• The avatar habitat allows clan members to receive an exp buff that they may carry with them across the game, and allows for the summoning of our clan avatar.

Clan Discord
Team Windmill has a discord server, which is a purely optional feature for all clan members. We believe that Discord has its place as a useful tool for connecting with friends, organizing group play, and sharing experiences. However, we seek to preserve the integrity of the in-game experience. There is something magical about that live MMO feeling. We also remain vigilant to ensure that those who don't wish to use Discord are never left out of the conversation. That said, Discord is a useful organization tool for clan events, and we do encourage its use.

Play Your Way
Team Windmill accepts various styles of play. Want to come to a group combat event as a Legacy user? Go for it. Want to go bossing, but don't have the best gear? That's fine. Bring your best gear.. We also don't dictate clan members invention perks. Want to discuss optimal picks, and play to a meta? That's fine. Want to experiment with lesser-chosen perks, and play to your unique style? Also fine. Play the way you want to play.

Player Run Clue Scrolls!
Player created clue scrolls are posted to our Discord channel every Sunday, and occasionally extra clue scrolls are posted on additional days. These clues award the contents of a clue scroll casket to the first player to solve them. Who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and walk away with a coveted treasure trail dye!

Minigames!
Group up with fellow clan members to play a variety of group minigames. Barbarian Assault, Castle Wars, Soul Wars, Heist, Fight Pits, and more! We're here to play. We embrace the spirit of competition, and engaging with the minigames to have a good time together. We're not here to go AFK, and farm Thaler. We're here to play!

Windmill Hiscores!
We track a variety of clan centered hiscores. Compete with your fellow clan members for the fastest boss kill, the highest score in Tears of Guthix, highest wilderness lever pull count, and more. You will be listed in our clan's book of records for all to see, for as long as you can hold onto your title.

~ Joining Team Windmill ~


Joining the clan is simple. Simply hop into our clan chat as a guest, and say hello. Feel free to hang out, chat, and play with us without having to officially join the clan. We're here to make friends, and play together.

Should you want to join in an official capacity, simply say so in the clan chat. Alternatively, you may post on this thread or private message a clan member requesting an invite. Our clan permissions are set so that anyone in the clan has the ability to invite friends.

We do hope to see you, and adventure alongside you, soon!
