Let's be honest, you are scraping straws for the last few people, and other people may drop out for various reasons.

But if you insist, here's the new proposed rules for a 16 player tournament.

---Official Tournament---

Round 1: 16 people
Four team matches. Losers get sent to consolation tournament, with 0 points each.

Round 2: 8 people
Two team matches. Losers get sent to consolation tournament, with 1 point each.

Round 3: 4 people
One team match. Losers get sent to consolation tournament, with 2 points each.

Round 4: 2 people
Final Round... or is it?!?!

---Consolation Tournament---

Everyone gets drunk and battles each-other randomly.

On a completely tangent note, I will continue the tradition of Ere* starting up a political discussion by pointing out we haven't finalized the rules of the fc (look up the second post of this thread).

I guess let's start with what appears to be the current "unofficial" rules:

1.) All generals serve for 6 months, after which there will be re-elections.

1.) All members who have had the smiley icon for at least two weeks and have maintained an active status in the FC may vote for generals, and other matters concerning the fc.

2.) All voting is done publicly (ie. in this thread).

4.) Bans/kicks may be initiated if A. There is a complaint and a general decides that the complaint is valid, or B. There is a complaint and at least five other members support this.

5.) If someone is banned, they must wait for a period of at least 3 months before appealing. Banned individuals may request a hearing. They are permitted to leave several times regarding their availability and generals will decide which of those are the best option for the hearing.

3.) Real life issues, including politics and religion, are permitted topics of discussion. However, generals may decide on a case-by-case basis whether or not a conversation has gone too far and should react accordingly.

---

In other words, we only have three rules. Is everyone happy with this?

^I think we should set some kind of procedure for introducing new rules. For example: A proposition requires X people to petition for it before it's voted on. -Ascertes, King of all the Hallowlands and the Everchosen of Saradomin.

It's a nice round number. I don't see why not.

Just some thoughts for rules:
1) We have to decide on whether or not a person can be banned, and under what circumstances.
2) Are we still keeping the rule that religion, politics etc is allowed?
3) Rules on inappropriate behavior and speech (which are hard to define, but yh...)
