I'm still in the running as God Empress btw. These people may promise you rules and stability, but except for Amascut they all lack the Divine Rite that I have. But Amascut has been driven crazy over the years, so clearly I'm the better option for God Empress. I solemnly swear to act arbitrarily and capriciously to further my own entertainment, unless I choose not to do so in which case I will not do that, although in not doing that I kind of would be acting arbitrarily and capriciously by not acting arbitrarily and capriciously so the oath would stand.

In essence, vote me as your new God Empress, and I swear on my Holy Purple Hat that you will not live to regret it. Thank You, and Good Day.

I say the system should be dethal using his best judgement, to promote and demote generals as he sees fit


And we trust he will not promote unworthy, power hungry plebs that do nothing but cause drama and snotty remarks ~

Honestly, I don't think this needs to be as complicated as we make it.

We've always needed Dethal anyway to deal with generals so this is just the simpler way. I'm not personally afraid of Dethal going crazy, and if he did, the other options wouldn't stop it anyway- so it doesn't seem like any risk with option 3.

One thing I will say, we should come up with some way to repeal appointments (in case a general goes off the deep end), or ask for more generals, etc.

If Dethal keeps it, then I think there should be some sort of check on that. We need Generals that people trust and don't think will be overly biased. So, if a person is not trusted by a decent sized group, then they shouldn't be a General. I'd say a certain threshold of votes to remove a General. Shouldn't be like 1 person to remove, but it shouldn't be difficult, since Generals are just moderators and if having them as a General is causing drama then its at odds with the whole point of having them.

Having a set number needed to vote a general out is ridiculous and would lead to endless re-elections. I could find 10 people to remove every single general that was elected last time as well as Dethal. Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain.
