1. Apparently, Mah is still on Freneskae, as we're heading there to deal with her.. in some way or another.. with Zaros, Zamorak, all the Mahjarrat, Seren, etc. in the Children of Mah quest.
2. I wouldn't bother, she'll probably be dormant or dead after the quest. Not too sure about that now, though. I mean the Measure practically woke her up (although we needed to use it to get Zaros a body), and she might be walking around right now. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Zaros was running around trying to give her the slip while we brought Seren to Freneskae, and he was wondering what the hell we were doing. The Measure? I think Zaros's rebirth is what did it, she sensed her "son" and it caused her to wake from her deep sleep. Come to think of it, it might be both.
Player: But she's awake again now, and lively - why is that?

It's even possible that Mah began to stir even after The Temple at Senntisten, when the communication portal reached Freneskae. The dark mage in the Abyss felt a jolt and thought he nearly lost the universe, and if the theory that Mah is going to use the Abyss in some way (as is shown with the prehistoric abyssal in Heart of Stone), it could be that there's an entrance point between the Abyss and Freneskae, among other places.

I would surmise that the confluence of events leading to my return have enlivened her...and that your time in the Elder Halls regenerated this planet's anima enough to reinvigorate her - like a shot of adrenaline.
