You peer into a Chapel of Zamorak, which appears to be abandoned. Before you can close the doors again, a Revenant Chaos-Bringer flies at you and slays you instantly with a bolt of Shadow Lightning. Oh dear! You are dead!

I closed my Future Factions thread a few days ago, and while I can't remember if this inspired it, I do like the idea of "officially" worshipping Mah, to the point that I was thinking about Elder God Emissaries. Still haven't figured out how that would work, though.

I thought the Emissaries were only for the Gods joining the war?
And why would the Elder Gods care in the slightest about such a petty skirmish, between beings they can will out of existence, over their lunchbox?

I mean, other than it damaging the Anima. But again, I do believe it's been stated that the Elder Gods could kill all the warring Gods, as well as all life on Gielinor with but a thought, which kinda takes the 'war' part out of it, if one of them should join.

True, there likely wouldn't be any reason for Elder God Emissaries. Though, I'm hoping that, after Sliske's Endgame, we'll see some changes to the faction system. Maybe not include Elder God factions, but at least something.

At the very least, Fate of the Gods 2 is going to deal with the Mahjarrat, Zamorak, and Zaros, so there will be some heavy focus on the Children of Mah. Hopefully, Seren is included in that, and the quest is considered a part of Sliske's Endgame.

1. Apparently, Mah is still on Freneskae, as we're heading there to deal with her.. in some way or another.. with Zaros, Zamorak, all the Mahjarrat, Seren, etc. in the Children of Mah quest.

2. I wouldn't bother, she'll probably be dormant or dead after the quest. A

I would surmise that the confluence of events leading to my return have enlivened her...and that your time in the Elder Halls regenerated this planet's anima enough to reinvigorate her - like a shot of adrenaline.

It's even possible that Mah began to stir even after The Temple at Senntisten, when the communication portal reached Freneskae. The dark mage in the Abyss felt a jolt and thought he nearly lost the universe, and if the theory that Mah is going to use the Abyss in some way (as is shown with the prehistoric abyssal in Heart of Stone), it could be that there's an entrance point between the Abyss and Freneskae, among other places. Prepare for hell on RuneScape in Naval Cataclysm!
