Commander__A is open again and has posted a picture and the following words:
Look high, look low -

Adventurer, you have far to go.

So far I have not figured out what this means, thought I'd share (just want to do this as a community thing rather than a competition ;) )

The picture he posted was a much higher quality version of this:

The picture I got was from the video of concept arts Runescape uploaded yesterday.

Throughout most of the video, it says "The Golden City of Menaphos" at the top:

However, when it shows the 4 faction leaders, it briefly changes to "The Golden Path of Menaphos":

I believe Commander A's picture of concept art was a hint at looking at this video, and his "look high" was a hint of looking at the top of the images.

The commander is the female in the middle left, so your pronouns are off. If you look at her left knee, it has the Twitter Icon, her sword says CMDR__A in Menaphite Script, so it just leads back to the twitter account that we already know exists.

Hmmm. This likely means "look high, look low" refers to something else than the text at the top of the video. Commander A's picture has the caption "MENAPHOS LOWER LEVELS". The alternate higher levels would be this picture:

But I don't see anything noteworthy.
The legendary creators have been long gone from this world. When they return, they'll be surprised and angered of their creations' new sapience. Meanwhile, the world's most elite, summoned to be its guardians, have abandoned their purpose and intend to plunge the world into chaos. -- Bionicle or RS?

Another tweet has been made 3 hours ago, stating:

Inside the bowels of Menaphos,
your answer awaits.

Adventurer! Finish what you started.
Accomplish! Kneel! Elate!

The tweet is accompanied with the concept art of the higher district of Menaphos. The tweet itself hints towards the last clue being completed in Menaphos.
But note that the capitalized letters spell "I'm a fake". So could this be a red herring? I can not try this myself currently but perhaps just try to type in Afake in the sundial, since it is a word starting with an "A" (just me guessing things)?

Edit: the tweet also contains icons for a sailboat (sailing confirmed!!), mountain and droplet

Bookmarking this.

The clues are definitely getting more cryptic. Tweets that contain hints and pretty pictures....but I have absolutely
no idea
what I'm expected to get out of them.

Is there something WRONG with each picture?
Is there desert script hiding in each picture?
Are we supposed to count the number of X in each picture?

Hopefully it gets clearer with the third tweet.
If there is one :@

Afake doesn't seem to work. :p

The mountains emoji could also be interpreted as pyramids. In the image, the boats are following a water path into the inside of a pyramid. This could be the "Inside the bowels of Menaphos" that Commander A was taking about. So far, it seems we're being led on a path of pictures. From the lower levels to the upper levels to the inside of a pyramid. But what picture comes next?

Completely unrelated, but I used an Orb of Oculus to look around the empty Menaphos ingame, and I found an obvious crack facing into the city in the southwest wall. Thought that was interesting.

That's because the wallsare copy-pasted from the northeast side of Sophanem, including the crack from Icthlarin's Little Helper.
You never were our brightest star, Khazard. 'Vermin slaughtered like lambs'? What does that even mean?

It may not be the same as the one the boats are sailing into, but we do have a picture of the inside of a pyramid:

Again, nothing really stands out to me. There are some red symbols, but I don't know if they're compatible with our script translation. A semicircle with 3 rays is an L though.

That could be the case. Entering Ehsan at the sundial gave the message "Take a second to process, to take stock; Look for a mistake, the Golden City amok!"

And if anyone is still wondering about how to get Ehsan, I've noticed that all the letters in her name are also in Menaphos. Maybe this was done on purpose?

Hello,

I noticed in the Tome of Menaphos utube video that there is a red jug that appears next to a collection of six characters at a number of spots. It is in a odd spot, near the left most person's right shoulder, just kinda floating. I don't know what it could mean, or if and possibly how it is part of a clue/answer, but thought I'd share it. It can be found roughly at 4s, 10/11s, 23s, 29s, maybe other spots. It is the only "mistake" I caught going, what I surmise, is a few frames at a time through most of the video. I think the same characters appear, only without the jug at other times, but I would have to go through the video again to confirm.

Did anyone else notice it?

See it here (from 4s):
insert something witty here

The error Ehsan referred to could have been the split-second where the text in the latest vid changed from City to Path.

What's-wrong-with-this-picture type puzzles are fairly common, and may not even be related to the hint from Ehsan.

First of all, Commander A's third post has been released. It says:

The #GoldenPath is illuminated, lit up in front of your eyes.

Keep searching, adventurer - #Menaphos is full of surprise.

Then she posted this picture:

Here is the matching picture from the video:

Nice catch. The jug is always there with that set of characters, though. It's not visible in your picture due to the title blocking some stuff out, but the female on the far right also has something curved and pointy near her head (I assume a weapon, feather, or letter). I think it's the same shade of red as the jug:

Also, in the image of the carpets, the red carpet has a different black jug in the middle. Maybe the 2 images are connected:
