8) Seren. She really should have gotten eaten by the Elder Gods. She was right that killing babies is wrong but sacrificing a planet to do it was super uncool of her. She really needs to get some kind of consequence for going totally off the d.eep-end. I figure that will probably come in a future quest when she tries to ground the baby elder gods and they hopefully eat her or rip her apart or she has to feed them her own anima so they don't starve or something but I want it on the record I'm upset she's alive.

BIB- Now that's what I call a massive understatement. Super uncool of her? It was insane, evil and utterly reprehensible. She proved she too is nothing more than an unpredictable, violent tool of the elder Gods. She never cared about innocent life (other than that which she considers her kin like the elder eggs) All her talk of co-operation, banding together and saving Gielinor, meant nothing. She would have let those monstrous creatures destroy Gielinor without a doubt had she not been give the idea of Iaia instead.

Also, killing babies? seriously? come on, they weren't "babies" in the traditional sense, they are monstrous entities who's birth required the death of a world and all of it's inhabitants. Destroying them would have 100% been the right thing to do when the alternative is destroying a world, home to millions. They will grow and return and put Gielinor and all worlds at risk again. Seren had no right to deem their existence more important than others. She is repugnant and as far as I'm concerned the worst God and I agree with you, I hope those elder spawn destroy her at some point.
Love the Lore and the RS Gods!

^I agree with you.

Another thing to consider - What of the elves? They are dependent on her being around them. I admit I don't follow lore super closely or anything but they haven't been given anything (or found a solution) for their predicament either?

And Seren just dips out in favour of some random eggs??? After spending who knows how long with the elves???

Didn't she 'honourably' shatter herself so she would always be with them in the past? Like what?

EGGS???

Ugh. I hate Seren so much. Zaros is a knob but Seren is a completely different kind of evil.
Arrr! Only th' Devil an' I know th' where'bouts o' me treasure, an' th' one o' us who lives th' longes' should take i' all.

I thought everything the gods did in this quest was in character. Even if you staunchly supported Zamorak in the 6th age, there's still no reason for him to trust you. So it makes sense he would betray us, just as it makes sense he would try to claim Gielinor while everyone is at their weakest. As for Seren, I always knew she cared more about the Elders and Eggs than any mere mortal or even young god, and this quest just confirmed it.

The worst part about this quest was the lack of cutscenes. That method of storytelling may work fine for intermediate and novice quests, but grandmaster level quests should absolutely have cutscenes for the main story points.

As for Armadyl, I fully expect him to betray us in RoP if it ever comes out, or at least we;ll see a side of him that we haven't seen before...

Guess this line of dialogue was just a bit or part of fan service then, or Zamorak just lied to me for whatever reason.

If you sided with Zamorak at the Empyrean Citadel
Zamorak: You supported me at the Empyrean Citadel in the face of the other gods. Not only do you have my trust, but also my respect.

If it comes to it bet its because of the WG connection or twisted genes to shadow anime.
Even Kerapac was bafled by it.
What are you, World Guardian? What shadow-souled monstrosity could survive this onslaught? I am bound to the Needle. While it remains while, I live, but you have no such power. You stand here on the brink of Erebus like it means nothing! Like it's not even touching you! What ARE you?

We've grown so much in power he may see us as a rival at this point... we'll just have to see if there's any special dialogue for Zamorakians in the next quest... if there isn't, then I would agree with you that it is poorly-written. But let's wait and see...

I do very hope so there is some special dialogue for those allied with Zimzam, i expected it atleast during Exctintion quest, guess a dialogue line or two whas to much to ask for those that sided with him.

Come to think of it i remember a mod not sure which one said (correct me if im wrong); that Bandos and Zamorak where the only god's to never limit their followers power.

But, i do admit, i always expected Zamorak to be the most paranoid of the god's and put some safety measures on said followers to have a or as he sees to potential to unsurp him.
I don't blame him. After all, he did demand Zaros to relinquesh his empire to him, as well giving some of his followers robes that would hurt them that want to unsurp him. What he did just gives other people to aspire what he did. for better or worse.
