(Be wary of what tho)
It was a joke, though my answer would be her flagrant emotional instability that has led to her many past mistakes.

So, the question is: do we know for sure how much the current Gielinorian Elves still rely on her? Yes, they all tend to carry a crystal with them, but is it necessary for survival, or just cultural at this point?
There is nothing explicitly canon at this point.
We know from Helwyr's account in the Tales of the God Wars that they addiction was still full force immediately after Seren shattered herself, but it's not like he's willing to talk to us about whether or not that is still the case.
Then there are the events of the Elven Civil War, which led to a significant amount of elves being stored in a crystal seed, which could very well have impeded Seren's attempt to wean them of their addiction.
To this end, the elves other than Helwyr's forces to most likely be weaned off the curse are the Cadarn given the time they spent outside of the elven lands prior to the War and then in Lletya, a notable crystal deficient town, afterwards. But, again, we lack evidence for or against such a weaning, and they did have their shard of Seren with them when they were outside the elven lands.
Personally, I think the curse is still a notable effect on the elves as their longevity, also an effect of the curse, has yet to fade.

Lady Meilyr might be weaned off soon as well. She managed to hide in Daemonheim after helping revert Prifddinas to a seed (it's even possible that Kerapac didn't know she was there), and mentions discovering Daemonheim during Baxtorian's campaign.
