Well, after the Elder gods there is no threat capable of topping them, The World lives in thriving peace for most of the time, threats come and go never lasting ultimately longer than your average quest line. It's a peaceful bore that I appreciate having after 8 long years convinced Seren to return Eluned. We were married on Tarddiad and live in my Teragard castle adorned with tapestries of my fondest Adventuring moments...
Player: Can I bring her back?
Seren: No. The Eluned you know is gone. I could no more separate her from myself than you could separate rainwater from a river.
I could create a new Eluned, who looked and acted like the old one,
but it would not be her.
Let it go Lethal. Let it go.
I WILL NOT.
Weren't you after Char?
Side note; Good thing i left my Eluned out of Seren, she deserves much more.
"If you believe you can distance yourself from the harm you cause, you're deluding yourself. You're not some mindless tool. You're accountable. Your actions will catch up with you eventually." -Jedi Master Jun Seros; Swtor Bounty Hunter storyline.

I argued that Char was best eye candy compared to Moia some time ago, but never after her.
Eluned will return, you'll all see. I will work miracles with the stone.
Just realized with our characters pets alone we'd have quite the ensemble of characters on our side.
A troll, a couple dragons, a phoenix or two- the list goes on. Given our contacts, we could even have the chance to install our pet penguin or monkey as rulers.
Eluned will return, you'll all see. I will work miracles with the stone.
Some of you guys guilting over Eluned and I'm still of the mind that it doesn't matter. She was a piece of a being. I restored her.
If I could save someone- it'd be Cyrisus. Perfect ally, who we've got a good history with, and we didn't get a chance to say goodbye like the others in the Underworld- who I'd probably still say goodbye to.

If you choose to view it from an ethical perspective it's a lose-lose situation. Either you sacrifice Eluned and deny her right to existence, or you don't sacrifice her and thus engage in an act of eugenics against Seren, which is its own moral pitfall. So you're right, it doesn't really matter.
Patrolling Lore FC almost makes you wish for a Great Revision.
"I've got the power of four elder gods right in front of me, and I still can't take it for myself" The world guardian muttered as he pulled his palm from the Stone of Jas, already feeling the power slipping back out of his hands.
"I don't understand," Kharshai responded "You should be as powerful as Armadyl by now"
"I'd probably be more so... if it weren't for Guthix's 'gift', but then again, I'd probably be dead without it"
"You can touch the stone with impunity, what is the issue?" Kerapac huffed
"
I
can touch the stone as much as I want, but so can anyone else. Without your people's link to the stone, its still left defenseless. It's only a matter of time before
someone
finds a way to get to the stone while I'm away- and takes what I cannot." The World Guardian grasped the hilt of Guthix's once broken blade nervously.
"I need a guardian. Someone to keep an eye on the stone while I'm away."
"You would tie another to this accursed object? How dare y-"
"Calm down Kerapac. Some faith is due, Half Centaur has saved both our races. Surely he understands how-"
"Yes. Now leave me." Half Centaur sighed as he held the stone in hand once more, as he watched his guests'vision go blank, as the memories faded from their minds. "Best to keep this secret to as few as possible after all."
"Uhm... Sir? There's another, uh, visitor here to see you." Dandelion the golem said as he poked his head into the chamber.
"What? that's not-how? Just, throw him in here."
The fortress should have been impenetrable- and more importantly, utterly unknown to those outside the World Guardian's influence. He watched with interest as Dandelion shoved their new guest into the innermost chamber.
