Well, after the Elder gods there is no threat capable of topping them, The World lives in thriving peace for most of the time, threats come and go never lasting ultimately longer than your average quest line. It's a peaceful bore that I appreciate having after 8 long years convinced Seren to return Eluned. We were married on Tarddiad and live in my Teragard castle adorned with tapestries of my fondest Adventuring moments...

As for the gods...

Zaros has ascended, an elder god in his own right, but has chosen to leave our universe, to start his own, we cannot follow, for we are needed on the world we all saved together. Appointing me as his Envoy. He leaves each of his faithful a shard of his body, so that while he will not be here physically, they may always call upon his memory should they be in need of his guidance.

Seren returned to Tarddiad, where she felt most at home, having mended the damage the elves had done to themselves, she has made steady progress in returning the elves to their roots, living in perfect harmony with their world. She is content.

Saradomin's corpse statue lays within Falador as a reminder to his followers that they were his undoing, even now they still try and huddle around it for warmth as if it's some religious relic to worship. Even in the end they were blind to the faults of their own actions, always someone else to blame, always an inaction to ignore. The white knights abolished, the temple knights no more. A fitting tragedy.

Zamorak is on Infernus, forbidden to return. His philosophy is too dangerous, too untamed. He had been allowed to rally his followers to join him, and they now rule over the Infernal world to revel in the chaos and progression he teaches.

Armadyl has abandoned Abbinah, a dying useless world, and has, with permission, brought the Aviansie to Gielinor. They live in their citadels and, for the most part live a quite ordinary unextroidinary existence, but never wanting more.

Player: Can I bring her back?
Seren: No. The Eluned you know is gone. I could no more separate her from myself than you could separate rainwater from a river. I could create a new Eluned, who looked and acted like the old one, but it would not be her.

Let it go Lethal. Let it go.

Reading this makes me glad that I have control over my two paired characters' stories.
With them both being Adventurers I created I don't have to worry about quests messing any of it up. :P
I'm Gylkra, hunting monsters for fame and glory is my way.

In a desperate attempt to stop the threat of Xau-Tak, the world guardian sacrifices themself to re-establish the edicts and banish all gods from the world, freeing humanity from their control and appeasing the remaining elders to resume their slumber. The balance elemental witnesses this all and describes it as "beautiful." As reward for his sacrifice and saving the world, Death and Itchlarin return the world guardians soul to his body to help with the new age of Gilenor by helping mortals rebuild. The dragon kin move to the forefront of the list of threats to deal with and world guardian is more than happy to meet that threat. I have seen the dark universe yawning, where the black planets roll without aim;
Where they roll in their horror unheeded, without knowledge or lustre or name.

NOR SHALL I. Neil Degrasse Tyson has no bearing!

On another note, I have a vision that isn't that different from Lethal's. But would need way too many posts to get everything.

In all seriousness. If all goes according to plan. AND IF Jagex would allow it. The Godless would have succeeded their goal. Creating a new edict like barrier to prevent the gods from entering, of course bypassing it wouldn't be easy. Elder gods would be destroyed, or in a loopful sleep. Seren gets to return to tarridad as she planned. The Godless are made Guardians' of Gielinor, Vorago would be in my debt for stopping the elder gods.

All other gods would be banished or peacefully escorted out of Gielinor (unless they play a role like Icthlarin does.) And everything in Gielinor would be in check by the Godless, and I. And F course my wedding with Zanik starts then :D

I wonder who all these people are going to Ashdale, as I instead focus on trying to properly raise Tutorial Island back from the ocean. I continue to hone my skills, but I know that in my heart, I am an artisan (Because come on, I'm so slow that it will probably take me five years to actually get the Artisan Cape), and so I take up a job at the Tutorial Island teaching newcomers of the artisan skills, and struggling in vain to push a petition to allow all to learn about Herblore, Fletching, and Construction. Naturally, all my Construction students use their skills to eventually build The Guild of Kemtros, honoring myself and my accomplishments.

After Nomad is finally defeated in Sliske's Endgame, I tell Korasi of how I helped Jessika's spirit find peace in the afterlife. Korasi and I soon begin a relationship, and though Vargas is concerned, hoping I have not forgotten of Astrid, he knows what it's like to have fallen in love again and congratulates me on finding such an opportunity with Korasi.

To atone for having aided in Hazeel's restoration, I break down the schism separating East and West Ardougne, and rally the soldiers to bring down Hazeel. Philipe Carnillean participates in the battle, and even slays Hazeel. Philipe is henceforth inducted into the Signature Heroes, becoming an apprentice of sorts to Sir Owen, who is no longer a zombie and has helped restore the centaurs.

Robert the Strong has eliminated all the Dragonkin, and allies himself with Icthlarin, both determine to finally defeat Amascut, and as she is redeemed, she joins Robert and her brother in defeating the Mahjarrat. I offer them a tense truce with the Zarosian Mahjarrat, and they all accept on my behalf, but are happy to agree about taking down the remaining Zamorakian Mahjarrat. But I call dibs on Zemouregal.

Zaros believes that he can surpass Mah by defeating Wen, but is killed in his attempt. Seren ascends to the rank of an Elder God, and like Guthix, she controls the flow of the Anima Mundi to bring herself and the other Elder Gods into an eternal slumber, but accepts that the others may have to be slain eventually. She does not recreate the Edicts, instead trying to focus that power on further pacifying the Elders. Armadyl forms an alliance with Seren, and aspires to be a figure on the surface that Seren's followers could depend on. Saradomin has finally killed Zamorak, and tolerates Armadyl for the moment.

Zanik spends her last few years trying to get rid of the Soul Obelisk once and for all. It was her task to watch over it, and she will not leave this world forever until she is certain that it is gone. Armadyl offers her some form of aid, recognizing the consequences of killing Bandos. Certain that Armadyl killing Bandos left Gielinor a better place, believing the Bandosians could find peace on Yu'biusk, and free from the Soul Obelisk, Zanik ventures into the God Wars Dungeon. Rather than relying on us as her proxy, Zanik fights Graardor and defeats him, persuading the remaining Bandosians of the dungeon to leave to Yu'biusk. With the Bandosians encampment abandoned and Zamorak dead, Armadyl and Saradomin agree to leave the Temple of Lost Ancients behind, while Seren now holds the Heart of Gielinor.

Zanik accepts my relationship with Korasi, for as long as I am happy, that is enough for her, and now that she has been more than satisfied with her life, she welcomes Icthlarin, telling him that she is ready to move on, and so Icthlarin leads her into her afterlife, with all of my allies from Nomad's Elegy, even the vague lost souls who had no real role in the quest, holding their hands out and welcoming her to the next life.
