Thank you
I have seen the dark universe yawning, where the black planets roll without aim;
Where they roll in their horror unheeded, without knowledge or lustre or name.
Soooo, i haven't read the other ~65 pages before this one (basically, only read the OP's posts about Xau-Tak) and for some reason i think its not exactly a case whether its "a he or a she". I think of it as a force - not necessarily a being - so far.
Well, it destroyed other planets and stuff, so if it was on Gielinor all this time, it has some really powerful roots out there. On the other hand, it might have some really powerful roots here, and have been somewhere else all this time.
What exactly do I mean with this? It was stated somewhere that Xau-Tak can somehow change reality or the physics around it (which would probably explain the obsidian hands, made of the pillars).
What if Xau-Tak is actually a dark force present in the black stones, in the underwater city, in the skeletal horror etc?
A force that is present in some objects around the world that controls weaker beings around it, and causes destruction and death without being noticed? A force that has always been there (at least for us) and that can't be stopped by known means, since its not material?
Some NPC's may call it a "she" because they reference the sea and maybe the strongest of Xau-Tak's artifacts is underwater somewhere, or there's a portal that leads to where the physical form of that force we experience is? I don't know, but I really can't see it as a being, maybe i'm missing something.
Xau-Tak does not need Mod WIlson to survive. It long ago surpassed such limitations, just ask our good friend the Skeletal Horror.
In related news, we're getting a Xau-Tak Treasure Hunter promotion later this month, in a similar fashion to the Queen of Ashes one last year.
You never were our brightest star, Khazard. 'Vermin slaughtered like lambs'? What does that even mean?

Yeah, but now there's the chance Xau-Tak will end up being completely different to what Mod Wilson intended it to be. I only hope he left notes on it for them to spool over.

My point was that Fur and Seek happened without Wilson's involvement. Meaning the quest was made by Mod Maylea using his notes.
He's definitely left notes for Xau-Tak if he left notes for the Rag and Bone Man.
