I imagine my character to have fallen in love several times, mainly with Eva Cashien (though she doesn't like wizards :( ), Commander Zilyana (before he discovered her rotten personality) and a female wizard from the Runecrafting guild. Though it never grew into something.

I wouldn't say Zanik though, for obvious reasons...

Sally (the future main-character of the upcoming Idle Adventures) would also be interesting, though Jagex stated the World Guardian and she would never meet.

Toplessness isn't exactly a massive draw. Anyone with a pair of hands and consent can remove someone's top. Bam, suddenly topless. An outfit and accessories that accentuate the person's natural characteristics (and proper presentation of those characteristics) is far better at both grabbing and keeping attention.

In that area, Tentacle is rather crap, to be blunt. She's wearing half a fishing net and some poorly textured shells that look like dollar store pasties instead. In addition, her tail fin looks absolutely atrocious and she has the worst hairstyle currently in game. Anemone is better, with her eyepatch, necklace, and tattoos emphasizing her more feral appearance, but IMO would be better with some form of light armour covering her torso (but not her tattoos or gill slits).

In addition, a sizable part of a mermaid's appeal is how exotic they are (which, generally speaking, can be read as how many fetishes they hit). However, compared to some of the other races and persons in Runescape, mermaids are just a bit outclassed. It's not really their fault.

They can't exactly compete with a 12ft tall busty woman with wings, an adorable pigtailed goblin with large eyes, a toned female knight in interestingly form-fitting Void armour, or the player's canonical wife.

Especially when all of the above have far more chemistry with the player, far more interaction with the player in quests, and in general are just better characters than some third string mermaids from a subpar quest that people only ever did because the deposit chests are too damn convenient.

I see my character as an autist who couldn't establish an actual connection with someone to save her life.

It's what, like, all of the quests suggest.

When someone asks you if you killed their brother, the proper response is not to sincerely and honestly try explaining that you kill so many people every day that they all just bleed together, and to ask for any defining characteristics that would make his brother stand out in the ocean of lives you've slain.

But to Iron Vampire, that's the natural response. I heavily doubt she feels anything when a "friend" of hers dies except disappointment at her own failure. 7:46 speedrun for "Lurkers in the Woods"

Meg. She's cute, rather loopy, and reminds my character of himself when he was a newbie, unburdened with the responsibility of being the World Guardian.

It would be Zanik, but the universe has made sure that that could never be. She's the "lost love", so to say.

It's an interesting thought but after I thought about it. I don't think I see myself with any characters in game. I do love Zaros and Guthix cause it tore me apart for who I was going to side with in TWW. And ever since I found Zaros "family love" for Seren and Azzandra has a thing for Zaros. Though maybe I'm tsund** for Sliske since I'm angry every time I see him because what he did to my Guthix but I find him such an interesting character
