@Wekill

Well naturally we're going to see some things radically different. Saradominists might see Saradomin is a lion. It's a hero's symbol, often characterized by courage and nobility, traits a Saradominist might admire over power, cunning, and ambition.

I, of course, wouldn't see such traits. I do not see Saradomin as brave, but a cowardly bully instead who isn't noble, but rather childish in his lack of control over his emotions.
Runescape doesn't need a hero...it needs a villain. An all encompassing force of evil that will remain ever-threatening and use chaos to make the peoples of Gielinor tolerate each other, grow strong together, and fight side by side against this evil. I am that villain.

You know I realize this is going to be portrayed as trolling by most of the community, but what I find interesting is how each faction seems to see both themselves and each other faction.

Its rather funny that the Zarosians are trying to pull this dragon stunt. You guys understand what a fictional creature is right? It's showing how much of a false idol they seem to have made him into. Making him infallible and unstoppable, when he has been shown to be neither.

On the other hand it's interesting to see other factions calling Zamorak a snake, however I'm not sure how much of it is just them bashing verses how much of it is serious.

As well as how pretty much everyone says lion is ok for Saradomin, its odd to see a normally extremely bashed faction getting a pretty nice representative.

A dragon is cool, awesome, badass, unbeatable...just like Zaros.

Zamorak is a snake not just because snakes are symbols of betrayal, but because snakes and dragons are both reptilian, just like Zaros and Zamorak, they're both creations of Mah in some way, but just as dragons are better than snakes, Zaros will always be better than Zamorak.

Lions are cool (snakes too for some people) but remember the dragon rules over them both, the dragon rules over everything.

Gee, I'm at a loss...I'm not sure whether I should chastise you for not being able to take a joke or your inability to keep your role playing out of the role play forums. I would represent Guthix as a snake. Snakes embrace the earth with the entire length of their body, and are often associated with a balance of energies, and their ability to shed their skin renewing themselves in a literal and spiritual sense. I see both the snake and Guthix as wise healers in a very primal way.

I disagree with the thought that snakes embody betrayal and I think that is mainly the result of a certain kind of cultural conditioning.

Honestly While I agree somewhat with Hazeel and Lethal, I kinda see Saradomin as more of a Cinema between a rat, snake, and la chupacabra. "Your god's dead next time he's in a world event. "
