Edit: Apparently, the quest will be released late next year, so I will most likely miss its release anyway. Still, for all the loyal, weary Myreque fans I hope it works out.

However, Mod Ana says she isn't developing the quest:

[qfc id=]You're kind of correct. It's most likely that Mod Srowl*y would develop the quest, however I would have very strong design oversight, along with Mod Osborne. Believe me, I love the questline - in all the time I've been here it's my favourite thing to work on, so I'm not just going to give it up! And I'm very lucky in that both of those mods understand that :) . Time permitting I may also be involved in writing the dialogue for some of the main characters.

Also, Mod Srowl*y has made quite a few excellent quests in his time, so you're in very safe hands there as well![/qfc]

Mod Rowl*y has quite an extensive lore background, which is great. Also, with Mod Ana's oversight, I hope he will get the character's personalities right when he writes their dialogue.

Either way, I hope they do a good job with Drakan. They could end up ruining the series if they make him a flop.

I hope he survives this quest I never feel like one quest is enough for such a major character. I don't personally think Drakan is going to be a very complicated character. I have felt Vanescula is the True Villain since BoD. I definitely think she's less powerful than Drakan that's why she is scheming.

I'm sure there'll be some way to juice her up for the final fight to make her stronger than Drakan. Kind of upsetting that they've both told us that Drakan will be in the next quest, that we're going to kill him and pretty much what we'll be doing. Ruins the whole mystery of whats going to happen.

Yeah though combat with her doesn't need to be the end of the series. Also seems we'll be fighting with allies vs Drakan. One on one vs Vanescula is difficult enough.

I agree ruins some of the surprise by revealing Drakan.

He has made Fate of the Gods, Ozan Quests, and written for more such as While Guthix Sleeps. He knows the lore and has written for years with postbags etc. Dialogue is his strong point with plot less so which worries me slightly.

I think he's dying in this quest. They'll have revealed most things about him and I think if Drakan doesn't kill some people he'll come off a bit weak. Safalaan and Veliaf are my bets for those being killed by him.
