Actually, if you spied on Seren and Saradomin's conversation, Seren managed to recapture her from Zaros, but she is definitely safe now. Seren planned on exchanging her for the SoJ if Saradomin won the race. She thought it was way too dangerous to let him have it, and she knew Saradomin would do anything for his daughter. This is the weakness the Dragonkin was most likely referring to in Hero's welcome...
I saw Saradomin and Seren converse, nothing of the sort is even implied.
Perhaps one of your past quest choices affected this? I am just reiterating what some lorehound told me
"Sky Jexel" you should talk to him. Did you fully restore Seren? Maybe the Dark Lord stone caused her to do this? If you did not fully restore her, maybe her fractured mind led her to do this? All I know is that the jmods designed this quest to have many alternating dialogues dedicated to things you did in past quests.
Seren was just talking about how she didn't want Saradomin to have the stone and asked him to forfeit because it's an obvious trap, had an option to agree with her, or encourage Saradomin to keep going either supporting him or neutrally.
Saradomin establishes early on in the quest that his family is dead and he can barely remember their names, so this supposed daughter really doesn't make any sense with the version of the quest that I played.
In other words: Saradomin lies to you to protect his daughter. Not all that strange, to be honest.

I had both Seren and Zaros at full power and Seren pulled a fast one on Zaros stealing Saradomin's daughter from Zaros after he recovered her. What was up with the whole Praetorus(?) thing though?
We sleep soundly in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm.
So what did end up happening with the Viniculum Juris pact then? I am at the final fight and Zammy has not yet done anything for Zaros, although Zaros asked "Praetor Plumaris Armadyl" for the stone before it got rage-killed by kerapac, the curse is finally gone...
Considering good ol' Blue considers me little more than "a clown in small shoes", I never encountered this at all. I also raced off against Armadyl and literally tripped at the finish line, (stupid run energy).

I was actually thinking about making a thread about this. Does Zamorak still owe Zaros a favor if he wasn't there? Since all the other gods seem to have also sworn oaths, if they didn't get to the stone do they still owe Zaros?

Has any player actually managed to win the race?
It's possible to win the race, but it will lead to nothing tbh. The SoJ will still get destroyed either way.
I submissively obey Lady Seren's every whim and relish every waking moment willingly serving her. She is my mistress and I am nothing without her. I am without thought, self-awareness, and being without her. She is my everything.

I managed to win, Sliske just asks you want you want to do with the stone, with dialogue such as I will rule Gielinor, Heal gielinor, banish gods, etc. Then comments on what you said, then Zaros/Seren/Kerapac show up.
I'm Gylkra, hunting monsters for fame and glory is my way.
