Fortification Materials-
1) Smithing secondaries. Rune chunk, Adamant chunk , Mithril chunk, steel chunk, iron chunk, bronze chunk, and Condensed coal.
2) Crafting secondaries. Condensed gold, Condensed silver, Black d’hide strips, Red d’hide strips, Blue d’hide strips, green d’hide strips, hard leather strips, leather strips, splitbark cloth, xerician cloth, set opal, set jade, set red topaz, set sapphire, set emerald, set ruby, and set diamond.
3) Fletching secondaries. Wood split, oak splint, willow splint, maple splint, yew splint, magic splint, and redwood splint.
4) Attaining fortification materials- there two ways to attain Fortified materials. The first is to dismantle items on the fortifier’s tables; the second is to attain fortified materials when gathering resources. Dismantling items can be done at anytime (on or off lessons) and will result in x fortified materials where x is the number of resources required to create the item; Fortified items cannot be dismantled and ZERO Fortification xp is granted for dismantling items. Gathering resources with a fortified tool will grant a 15% chance of receiving a fortification material of the corresponding resource.
Ex 1. Dismantling adamant plate body yields 5 adamant chunks.
Ex 2. Dismantling mithril scim yields 3 mithril chunks.
Ex 3. Dismantling sapphire ring (or ring of recoil) yields 1 set sapphire.
Ex 4. Dismantling red topaz bracelet (or bracelet of slaughter) yields 1 set red topaz.
Ex 5. Dismantling redwood longbow yields 1 redwood splint.
Ex 6. Dismantling runite crossbow yields 1 rune chunk + 1 yew split.
5) Condensed silver, coal, and gold can also be obtained by trading the NPC running the condensers the standard variant (in item and noted form) after completing their training.
6) Dismantling rules: Tools cannot be dismantled, Fortified items cannot be dismantled, no experience is given for dismantling. The only way to obtain bronze chunk is to dismantle bronze items.
