**NEW IDEA**
I can think of a way to make Zaros prayers likable to more OSRS players.
Currently, prayers in PVM (with the exception of certain monsters) cannot hit through prayers of the combat style you choose to protect from. I believe that OSRS Curse Prayers should ONLY protect 50% of damage from monsters, but also recoil damage back. This would still place value on the normal prayer book, and a unique value to the Curse Prayers.
In PVP, I would say that the curse prayers should only protect half of what the normal prayers would, but would still have a recoil effect. Or, (more extreme), disable unique effects of the Curse Prayers altogether in PVP.
Soul Split...man that's a tough one. The percentage of health gains must be VERY small, and the prayer must drain VERY fast when it's used. RS3 Soul Split is just OP.
The stat boosting prayers should not supersede Piety, Rigour, or Augery AT ALL. They could, however, provide a different / unique effect. Also, NO protect item for curse prayers. Make it riskier to have in PVP so people don't abuse them.
I would really like to see Curse Prayers, but implemented very carefully and following guidelines similar to what I mentioned above.

SUPPORT
IF
the above ideas or similar ideas are applied to this^^^
Otherwise, I
DO NOT support
Curse Prayers. They cannot be 'better' than the current prayer book. There must be good / bad qualities about each prayer book.
