I would like to know from an official mod what their current stance is on this. I really would like to play the game using a controller but I don't out of fear of being banned. Playing for long hours sitting up hurts my back and with most other games I can play from my couch using a 360 controller.
A good place to get a more definite answer on this is the official Jagex Support twitter account which I believe is @JagexSupport.
I hope the game becomes more inclusive with regards to controllers and as someone who's always been supportive of OSRS coming to gaming consoles I would imagine this could solve a lot of issues for everyone.
