I've also added this on Reddit. Eek! Hopefully there's a bit better chance of the mods seeing it there, plus give other players ideas of what sailing has to offer. It's extra shiny; being a PD*, I could add in the world map squares and a totally awesome picture of a boat on the front page. Sadly, as I know literally nothing about image editing, I can't make interfaces.

dude i was one who opposed sailing until reading your post... i support now... !!! but i disagree on the rcing part... maybe just a blood rune altar? as the runes u described are over powering*.and would destroy rune prices...

maybe if you would require 1 rune of each respective element+pure ess to make each of those types of runes, would balance it out click here to support soul wars!

remember when jagex added canoe hotspots on the river lum? could we perhaps see these woodcutting/sailing shortcuts return, but with more applications elsewhere? maybe a salve river travel hotspot after completing the priest in peril quest?

could we see port-to-port travel (like with charter ships) but with long travel times, and random encounters on the way?
