That is literally the point of old-school. You ruined it once. Go eat the soggy cake you cried for and leave ours alone.
Thanks.
Surprise surprise, mate.
Soul Wars made it into OSRS for some reason. Therefore, your logic is no longer valid.
Stealing Creation was added into the game on 11th November 2008.
Soul Wars however was added into the game on 10th February 2009.
And YET... for some unknown reason, Jagex decided to add the latest between the two games (Soul Wars) into OSRS... That involved re-rendering each and every 3D assets from Soul Wars in order to match the OSRS aesthetics.
So if someone suggests that Stealing Creation should be added, I don't see why anyone should object. Are rewards the reason? Jagex could easily change the reward system the same way they modified the rewards in Soul Wars (no summoning charms in OSRS).
"But there's Summoning in Stealing Creation! It can't be in OSRS then."
Well... As a solo game developer myself, take my word that it is a MILLION times easier to simply remove a feature from a game than having to re-render 3D assets.
(it does not take a game developer to know such a self-explanatory thing FYI)
I support stealing creation being ported over to OSRS. It was my favourite mini-game in runescape and I use to play it for fun, the same with the fist of guthix mini-game. I would love to see both of these bought back into OSRS.
I was against a new skill being added into OSRS but if we get any, I don't want any silly skills like sailing or warding or these other silly ones you see on reddit. I want the new skill to be summoning.
