Preamble:
Seeing as to how the recent update on November 9th, 2022, titled Diversity and Inclusion Changes has been met with a significant quantity of mixed reactions in the community; how it has included many changes to various quests and graphics within the game; and, how it was not put to a poll -- which is unusual for Old School Runescape -- a solution to this controversy can be easily presented that can remove many of the hard feelings felt. This solution is to put the update to a poll .
Polling Recommendation:
Poll each change made by the Diversity and Inclusion Changes (such as the changes to the makeover mage , the clothing store , the hairdresser's shop , the Throne of Miscellania quest, the Red Axe quests, the Feud quest, among other changes , etc.), so that the player base may be given a say over the changes being made to the game. Seeing the result of a poll of the player base's opinions and acting on it would be a good resolution to the controversy. Keep what is voted in favor of and reconsider, adjust, or open up for feedback anything that fails the vote.
Final Statements:
It would really show some more inclusion to the player base as a whole to put forth this poll -- even if the results weren't public -- just so you folks in Jagex could get a holistic picture of the general consensus and then work with the player base regarding these changes.
