Anyone who is a MAIN, please refrain from saying "the upkeep isnt that bad" when you can literally buy shards with GP without ever returning to the gauntlet or any other method that rewards crystal shards...

Okay so this would be a multi part wilderness update. I have never been into the PVP scene and I rarely go into the wilderness. I tried to think of something that would make me interested in going in there and make the wilderness more interesting.

Part 1: Armor
Add a new armor set to the wilderness. This would be a PVP oriented void style armor. It would be worse than carrying armor switches but would make it easier for those who are learning PVP. The helmet would switch you between a tank loadout and offensive loadout instead of between attack styles. The armor would degrade over time and if you are killed with it on you drop an item used to repair the armor. The armor and the repair items would be untradeable. Each piece would be dropped by a different wilderness monster. The drop rate would be high to make the armor easy to replace. These monsters would have easy PVP style attack strategies. The armor could be upgraded with drops from wilderness bosses Which should be updated to have PVP style strategies.

Part 2: PVP guild
Add a pvp guild to the wilderness (ferox enclave or another place) have some npcs that teach you about osrs style PVP so new people can learn how to PVP. Maybe have some npcs you can train against. Allow players to have practice duels against each other with supplies provided (that cant be taken out of the area).

Suggestion:

Add damage and the chance of dying to the Tempoross minigame, making it more similar to Wintertodt in that regard. There's a huge risk disparity between Tempoross and Wintertodt. We must do the moral thing and close that gap. ;)

In my opinion, damage and a chance of death adds more risk and fun. Most importantly, it provides great entertainment. Who doesn't love watching distracted players and ironmen die at Wintertodt? Why should Wintertodtians get all the fun?


Amendment:

Reduce the amount of gear / fish lost from fires with the introduction of damage. Add more rewards.

I would like to see an additional use for spirit flakes at tempoross boss, my idea is that you could exchange a certain amount of spirit flakes for soaked pages. It is similar to how it is in wintertodt with exchanging clothing for burnt pages.

Hello Jagex,

I have some ideas for OSRS, you could add to the game to improve skilling, pvming and PVP.

Stealing creation, this minigame can have all those 3 components in IT.
With the rewards u could unlock new tools to add, OR create new temporary items with An slightly better boost.

I know this minigame exists in RS3.

Also u could add some new fashionscape stuff like achievenent capes 10/20 etc...
Plus new frog armoury what could be claimed by the frog tokens (keep kissing the princess but no new collectables to get)

Poll Suggestion:

Remove duel arena and replace it with actual content. Perhaps a new minigame/skilling boss. The duel arena is a hiding spot for bots on most worlds, and a scam central on the main duel arena world. Most players are tired of duel arena. The duel arena is quite a large area. Obviously some clue steps would need to be redone, as well as other things, but this should be trivial to update.

Here is my idea for new content in the place of duel arena:

Ancient Ruins - Location of new runecrafting skilling boss

Because this area is already the location of mta, placing a runecrafting minigame here makes a lot of sense. The area would be stripped down and replaced with various ruins of previous runecrafting altars, destroyed ancient stone monuments, etc. The NPC's roaming would be reanimated stone golems. An ancient wizard would transport players to the minigames location.

As a rough idea for the minigame, players would mine bits of stone from ancient rune altars (same as current runes, except that the altars would feature the ancient text inscriptions for each rune rather than the current names). These bits of stone contain trace remains of the ancient magical power, but must be infused with magical power to be used to combat the boss, a giant stone golem. Lower level runes are mined quicker, easier to infuse, but deal low damage. as the rune levels get higher, the time to mine and infuse greatly increases, but so does the damage. in addition, players can use a chisel to craft the stone blocks into multiple runes, which will increase points earned per game but produce the same runecrafting experience. runecrafting experience will be gained when infusing the stone essence blocks or crafted runes. the peak potential for runecrafting experience per hour should not exceed traditional methods, rather provide an alternative form of training that is more immersive.

This is a rough idea, and i welcome community feedback, additional ideas, and more!

I made a post separately describing this more in detail, but....

I think it would be awesome to bring Fairy Tale III and The Chosen Commander quests to osrs! Both of these quests would end the two questlines (Fairy/Goblin) nicely!

***I know Fairy Tale III has Summoning in it, but we could perhaps find a work-around to replace this part of the quest so that skill wouldn't have to be introduced!
