I would like to see a sequel to the quest, Royal Trouble, In the form of either a quest or subquest. The quest would involve raising and leading an army to defend Miscellania/Ectentria from invaders.
In reality, the quest would be easy, short, and serve as an introduction to a Minigame, "Island Wars". Island Wars would consist of raising an army, training troops, arming troops with items the player themselves would supply (gained through the minigame), and laying siege against other, inferior, islands. The player would also be required to feed, pay and entertain his troops as well, similar to how the current Miscellania island already functions.
Leading an army of 10-15 NPC troops into battle could go one of two ways, PvP, or PvM.
In PvM, the player ‘Sails to unknown islands’ and encounters various monsters, with or without their army. These monsters would vary in difficulty based on the player’s choice of “easy, hard,or expert” level islands. In this mode, only the player’s items would be protected while all items of the troops (items provided by the player prior to entering the game) would be dropped on death and reobtainable upon killing the enemy that killed said troop. The enemy would also drop loot from a randomized table (to be later discussed). The enemies should be random enough, in terms of attack style (melee, range, and magic), to discourage players from gearing their troops in only one combat style.
In the PvP mode, players should have the option to do “safe” or “stake” battles with each other, similar to the Duel Arena. The only difference is that the Stake mode would always be the items you bring with you and your troops. In Safe mode, no items are lost by you or your troops. A power ranking system could be determined by a combination of the gear your troops are equipped with and the player's stats. This could potentially allow for random matchmaking. In the Stake mode, both player’s items would not be protected on death (minus the 3 that are)
