Hi there,

As a ranger, I find little use for the loads of ancient shards in my bank so I came
up with the following idea:
- the ability to turn (fletch/craft/smith?) ancient shards into bolt tips which can
be used to make ancient bolts (untradeable); especially strong towards demons.

I think this balances ranged towards demons more since the arclight/melee is generally more effective against demons/zammy. Magic already gained its boost with the coming of the Tome of Fire in my opinion, so I would like to see this option for ranged to be introduced as well.

I say we bring back stealing creation, and if we had a poll for it i do think it would gain all the support it'd need to be implemented within the old school community.

Poll 1:
Should Stealing Creation be brought back into Old school Runescape?

Poll 2:
Should the reward system be reworked? (Make the rewards harder to get, i.e. current items that cost 20 point cost 40.)

Poll 3:
Should the double xp on rewards stay as they were in Rs3? (Remove the tools that degraded over time granting double xp or keep them.)

Poll 4:
Should the minigame itself, if brought back, be updated or should it stay the same as it was when it was first introduced as far as the mechanics of playing the minigame?

I have a idea instead of having a tournament world every so often at clan wars have a dedicated world where you can try the best gear and have fun... you can make this a members only world so that more people would buy membership and it will get people off of runescape private servers I think this would be a great addition to old school runescape and a few of my buddies agree

Hi all,

The Saradomin Sword is a beautiful weapon which serves almost no purpose. It is outclassed by the abyssal bludgeon and staff of the dead in training strength which was previously one of its few purposes. It sometimes can be a pvm weapon for 70/75 attack pures but many slayer tasks require a shield item and you're ultimately much slower than even a regular whip. The saradomin tear helps a bit but is still two handed and also degrades (regular whip doesn't).

I propose making the Saradomin sword slightly smaller and one handed in order to give it a wider range of uses. It would serve as a great PvM/PvP weapon for anyone preferring to not level attack. In order to balance it you may have to reduce the strength bonus slightly since it can be used to aggressive.

Poll 1: Should the Saradomin Sword be made 1-handed or a similar weapon be added which is one handed?

Poll 2: If the Saradomin Sword is made 1-handed (or a similar weapon added) should the strength / accuracy be slightly reduced?

F2P QoL updates ( PvP+Skill )

Reduced Yew tree amounts on F2P worlds that aren't skill total...
Increased Yew tree's placed on both F2P skill total worlds ...only 1 or 2 Yew tree's per spot.....

Flesh-crawlers middle room increased in size for both F2P skill total worlds.
Security of stronghold lvl 2,3 & 4 made unavailable unless on a F2P skill total world or future F2P PvP world.

1 F2P PvP world.....would have increased Yew tree's place.

Al-kharid mine to have a reduction of 1 adamantite rock on all worlds except skill total worlds + future PvP world.
Increase of 1 adamantite rock on both F2P skill total worlds....

Karamja dock closed except for Both F2P skill total worlds & future PvP world.Wilderness would still offer a place
to catch lobster's & swordfish....

F2P Mining guild closed off unless on a F2P skill total world or future F2P PvP world.

PvP.....


Giants placed around the rune rocks & in the BLK Fortress....groups of 3....skill total & Pking worlds...308 / 316.

10-sec teleport timer added to both pking worlds 308 & 316......could be extended further.

I would like to see the
*Rune Dagger*
have it's attack speed increased from
2.4 sec to 1.8 sec in order to better compete with the Range to R2h combat.....

Fire blast spell damage increase + 3-4 in F2P PvP only in single combat zone in the wilderness when
cast on another player not Npc.

Let staffs remember the last spell / defence settings you configured when switching to R2H or Giant Club.....

Many F2P PvPer's have noticed the amount of 85-99 def / 85-99 range that sit out above edge.

These are usually owned by a player who also has a 1 def pure or a 60 attack pure that only fights No-armour.

The problem lies if you attack one of these pure's without asking permission....I mean they stand there in full rune with a skull but if you don't ask or go no armour it's now considered "Rushing"............

Once you have attacked one of these pure's there will always be one of their friends close by who will begin attacking you....They switch the protect prays on & eat to full HP after any damage.


The real problem lies in the amount of "Attack Bonus" rune armour still provides...It's 24 atm for wearing full rune with a maple short bow.......


I believe a Higher Negative bonus would be the solution to this epidemic.....I believe wearing full rune , range should offer a - 33 bonus to render armour useless for rangers.......

Ranger's in medieval times were known for the light & nimble agility...they never wore heavy clunky armour...it would affect their aim..Let alone how would you draw back on a bow wearing full plate armour.......?

Ranger's were known to wear light cloth like material & to engage in combat only as a last resort with a dagger......

Please a higher negative bonus for rangers wearing armour other than dragon-hide......
But an update for the dagger's would counteract any loss the rangers would encounter.

It's crushing to spend months , if not years on a account only to be bullied out by another build that has no purpose other than to kill your spirit.......Please help avoid more of this.

If you were unable to use a bow whilst wearing any armour that isn't dragon-hide would solve this problem.
