I wanted to make a suggestion to the
Old School Runescape
that I believe would benefit the community and possibly make some improvements to the game. There should be some sort of mailbox system that would be Global to all the worlds where a player could go to any bank and access a mailbox. When the player does access the mailbox, they would be able to send a message and possibly up to 3 items and send them to a player.
How do I send mail?
• 1. Find a Mailbox, located at any bank.
• 2. Right-click the Mailbox.
• 3. Click the Send Mail tab (Inbox should be the default).
• - In the to: field, enter the name of the recipient.
(NOTE: Names in your Clan and Friends List will auto-fill.)
• - In the Subject: field, enter the message title.
• 4. Optionally, enter a message in the message body. (The message body has a limit of 500 characters.)
5. In the message window you have the following options:
• Optionally, drag an item or stack of items to an item slot.
• Click Send to Send the message.
* Click Cancel to close the message window without sending.
Mailbox size
The maximum number of messages that a Mailbox can hold is unknown, but the Mailbox will only display the first 20 messages. Any messages over 20 will still exist within the Mailbox, but will not be displayed. To view the messages beyond the first 20, some of the messages will have to be removed.
I feel like this would benefit the community because it would allow friends to send specific items to one another without having to travel; and provide access for clans to communicate with a notice or supplies.
