Please consider reworking certain Hard Clue Scroll steps. Specifically, the step that requires the player to emote while wearing Rune Boots. Please either remove this step or exempt Ironmen from having to complete it.
This step is extremely punishing for Ironman accounts and is much more akin to an Elite clue requirement. Having a skill requirement of 80 makes this significantly higher than the other skill requirements for Hard Clues, which range around the 50-60's. 80 Slayer can realistically take 3-6 months to achieve even with most or all of your attention focused towards training that skill efficiently. This step poses little to no challenge to non-Ironman players who could simply purchase the boots (currently worth around 7k gp) with very little investment or effort, especially with the average Hard Clue loot being worth about 135k gp at the time of writing this. The only other Hard Clue requirement even remotely close in difficulty is the Amulet of Glory which requires either 83 Hunter or 80 Crafting + 68 Magic. However, this step is still significantly easier as you have 2 available methods for obtaining the item and all of the required skills can be trained significantly faster than Slayer. As well, using temporary skill boosts for the Crafting/Magic skills to create an Amulet of Glory is vastly easier than using a temporary skill boost for Slayer as it only allows a small window to attempt to kill a monster and hope you get lucky with the drop, rather than a small window to craft an item with 100% success rate.
The precedent has already been set that certain Clue Scroll steps would be exempted for Ironmen as the Medium Clue step requiring Adamant Boots has been removed for Ironman Mode. The Rune Boots step is comparable in how much more difficult it is for Ironmen and I believe warrants an exception to be made. Please consider exempting Ironmen from this step or removing it entirely as it is already a requirement for both Elite and Master Clue steps.
