The music update for OSRS breaks the immersion of the game. Please go back to how it was: a specific track for a specific part of the map. Or at least give us the option to do so. it really doesn't feel the same!! I dont want the track yesteryear or Dream when I am in lumbridge castle it not the same feeling and it just feels super wrong. I hope someone takes this recommendation to heart. Music is one of the most important aspects in the game. Please fix this issue nobady likes lute Salad in lumbridge castle!! nor expanse on the varrock square!! Its breaking the essence of the game!!
I feel the opposite... I appreciate the variety and am more likely to have music on now. Hearing the same track 100 times when you are in the same chunk for a while is very boring to me, but I agree an option to toggle would be nice if you feel the other way.

Hi, as a RuneScape player since about 2005, I’ve played the game on and off again as many of us do. One of the biggest reasons old school RuneScape was released in the first place was because old players felt like they couldn’t keep up with all of the updates and people wanting to return to the game felt like they couldn’t because of how much the content and meta has changed.

It’s sad that one of the exact problems OSRS was created to solve is now afflicting me again, but I still know how great this game and its development philosophy is with community engagement, so I know the content is GOOD, but I still feel a bit too overwhelmed to return at the moment.

On to my point - I know the OSRS team does something like weekly or monthly updates on their YouTube channel going over the new content, however, I think that it would be a great idea to make maybe 3-6 month update videos summarizing the new content that has come out in that time frame and maybe summarizing how the meta in game has shifted if at all because of that content. This would be great to encourage people like myself to return to the game and ultimately keep RuneScape’s player count as flourishing as possible!

Thanks, please let me know if any of the eyes at Jagex see this, because I’m truly on the fence about returning to the game. I’m the type of person who would have to sift back through the year I’ve been absent and catch myself up on all that has happened.

So, if you look at the in-game model of the Spirit Angler's outfit, you can clearly see what appears to be a small net on the pants.

I think it would be cool if the Spirit Angler's set worked as a small fishing net when worn, both due to being thematic, and also because it would allow you to fish the Tempoross reward pools seamlessly.

I don't really think letting the set work as a small net would be game breaking or anything...

Yes of course I know there is a guy who will give you a small net next to the pool, but that is a bit of time every time you want to fish from the pool as well as a minor annoyance so... Yeah, it would be a cool change in my opinion.

Hello,

Just a few small content/QoL suggestions:

1.
Playlists:
Please add the ability to place our favorite songs onto a playlist.
2.
Customizable Interface Aesthetic:
Please add an option, in the graphical settings, to change the aesthetic of the chat-box/interface to the 2004/2005 style. Many love the parchment paper chat-box and gritty hand-drawn icons of old, as they lend a more medieval atmosphere and increase immersion. (Again, this only needs to be an option in Settings for those who desire it. That's the only reason I tried RuneLite - for the option to play with the older icons/chat-box.)
3.
Search Bar in the Quest Log:
Please add a search bar to the Quest log to make the log easier to navigate.
4.
Alch Multiple Option
: Please add the ability for your player to Alch a certain amount of an item. For example, "Alch 1, 5, 10, 20." Alching is the most popular method of training Magic in the game. Given its popularity, I don't understand why we can't have an Alch option of, say, 20 items before having to click again. (I understand not wanting to add an "Alch X" option, as that would make Alching totally AFKable, but an option to Alch up to 20 would at least make Alching semi-AFKable. ) I believe this idea would pass a poll with enormous support.

Thanks a lot!

Salamanders are a very unique weapon in this game, however their stats are not great and being 2 handed really limits them in their use. Is it an idea to make salamanders a one-handed weapon instead? this will give them more use-cases (off hand weapons like anti-dragonfire shield and elemental shield become available) and also boosts their power because of off-handed weapons like defenders and such.

Make a Bonesack. Simple concept. Akin to the herb sack or gem back, except it holds bones instead. With the release of the fishbarrel it shows that you guys are open to making single items that hold a collection of a certain material beyond collectable like gems seeds or herbs. Why not bones? <3
